Pei Ge did not take her daughter’s words to heart at first, but the child’s next words made her do so.
“Mommy, I dreamed that little brother was tied up and was wearing a blindfold. A woman kept telling him that you’re not his mother!”

“I think that that woman is bad! I hate her!”

Hence, with delay, she asked her daughter, “Can you tell mommy how that woman looked in your dream?”

That description made the adult think that such a question was laughable because she was actually taking a child’s words to heart.
She was about to coax her daughter back to sleep, but the child’s follow-up words caused her to be stunned!

The girl was only four years old, so how would she have the vocabulary to describe a grown woman?
