Pei Ge rubbed her eyes open as she sensed the sunlight.
She realized then that the man was already awake.
“Haaaa!”
She let out a yawn and got out of bed quietly in order not to disturb the two little guys’ slumber.
Stretching her arms, she walked into the living room at the sound of noises from the kitchen.
In the kitchen, she saw the man in an apron busily preparing breakfast.
“Hey, why are you up so early? Didn’t we agree that I’ll be making breakfast?” she asked, feeling guilty at the sight of the man preparing breakfast, instead.
Ever since she got with him, she seemed to have gotten lazier than ever.
“Breakfast is almost ready; go wake An An and Ran Ran up.”
He did not respond to her inquiry and merely told her to wake up the children for breakfast.
She went to wake the two buns at his urging. The mother-children trio realized that the man had already put food on the table by the time they finished washing.
“Wow! Daddy is the best!”
“I love daddy the most!”
Both kids started lunch in excitement and ended it in awe.
After the warm breakfast, Pei Ge brought him and the two kids out to visit Zhang Manhua.
She spoke a lot to the man up until they reached her mother’s private nursing home.
