Seeing the anxiety on her face, Ji Ziming pursed his lips and shot the other man present a cold glare.
This man actually had the free time to come here himself. It seemed that he needed to give him more problems to deal with.

Pei Ge was stunned to hear him say that. “I’m only going there to see Xiaoyu. Can’t you give me a little more trust?”

He smiled slightly at the woman before him.
Pei Ge only realized that someone else was here when she heard this voice. She abashedly removed her hand from Ji Ziming’s, but the man would not let her and even held onto her tighter.
“Mr. Egger, you seem to be awfully concerned about Pei Ge’s best friend. You could’ve just called, but you actually flew here yourself to deliver this news.”
He gripped her hand tightly as he looked coldly at the other man.
Her eyes widened in shock, and she turned to look at Egger.
That was right. This guy could have just called, so why did he come over personally?
“I happened to be here to settle some stuff, so I decided to come over to tell you this.”
As the man said this in response, his eyes remained fixed on Ji Ziming. His voice was tinged with chilliness.
