All of a sudden, the atmosphere in the car turned tense.
Green light.
Alas, the both of them did not notice the changing of the traffic lights as they sat there without making a noise.
This went until a honking sound came from behind; only then did the car start moving again.
“…I don’t care what you think. Since you’ve shown yourself to me once more, I won’t let you disappear from my sight again.”
His words sounded like the cold wind in winter; it was freezing and firm.
It blew right into her heart, making it cold and warm at the same time and causing her emotions to be in a turmoil.

They arrived at the apartment just like this.

“Mommy! Uncle!”
Little Ran Ran came charging at the two adults.

No matter how much the girl acted cutesy to him, the man gently yet firmly rejected her request. He rubbed her head every time after saying no, nevertheless.
“Oh, uncle! Let me tell you: Little brother has been very nice to me today…”
Seeing how intimate the two were being, Pei Ge straightened up in a daze.
She felt slightly upset deep down inside.
Clearly, she had given birth to these children and brought them up, so why did they like the man this much?
