Mu Heng felt his heart ease and started finding excuses when he saw that Qu Jingwan and the fake Pei Ge were both not in the resting lounge.
“…I’ll have someone inform them to leave.”

A lightbulb popped in his head upon seeing his childhood friend’s attitude. He narrowed his eyes and carefully sized up the man.

This color… would usually not appear on a man’s lips, especially if he was Ji Ziming!

“Regina is with you!” he blurted out.

The other remained silent at this.
His reaction made him burst into uncontrollable peals of laughter.
“Pfft! Not bad! You’re pretty swift!” he whispered, giving his friend a sly smile.
“Alright. Don’t meddle in our affairs anymore.” Ji Ziming gave him a side-eye.
With a shrug, he continued to grin. “Tsk! I don’t wanna meddle in your affairs as well, but what else can I do? If I don’t, who knows how long you two—”
The man’s sharp glare shut him up.
“Fine, fine, fine. I won’t interfere in your affairs anymore. You two can settle it yourselves! I’ll go have some fun elsewhere!”
With that, he pivoted and made his way to the door with a relaxed gait.
“Let’s go, guys! Let’s go. There’s nothing left for us to do here! Time to find a beauty to play with!”
The rest also followed him out.
The moment Mu Heng stepped out of the resting lounge and disappeared from the other man’s view, his relaxed and carefree posture was replaced by desolation.
