Her anger wasn’t little, however she couldn’t shake Ye Feng up in the slightest. Abruptly standing up, she headed towards the cabin’s exit. When she reached the door, she tripped on the high threshold, about to fall down!
“Careful!” Gu Ziyan rushed by her side and caught her.
Yan Ziyuan was able to stabilize herself, casting a glance at Gu Ziyan. He was still handsome, but not as frosty as before, and was even starting to take care of her. It should make her feel extremely happy- and yet, why did she want to cry?
She turned her head to coldly look at Ye Feng, and then walked out in big strides.
The rest of the people also didn’t wish to stay on the boat any longer, so one by one they left, curious on whether the illusion boundary has been released or not, although they still perceived dense ghastly qi.
In the end only Ye Feng alone remained on the big boat. He waited for everybody to leave before gasping violently. And then, he slowly extended his hand, where there was a black spot on his palm: it was a clear sign of poisoning. No doubt that it was Xue Yilan’s doing…
He slightly pursed his lips, and closed his eyes again. Even if she didn’t chase him out, there was no way he would be able to stay by her side…
“A’yuan, take care!… I never thought of having any hopes to… you and me… in this lifetime…”
……
Outside the cabin.
Everyone was observing the surging red water below. That red-clothed evildoer has left already, so why didn’t the scenery change?
The fog was still greatly misty while monsters roamed underwater, so they could neither advance nor retreat carelessly.
Could it be that this place has never been an illusion but instead was real? So where the heck were they? Which curse had that demon used to transport this ship here and without their notice? And how could they leave this place for sure?
The survivors were all at loss, questioning about their unluck.
Yan Ziyuan let out her spirit.
Suddenly, she turned her head and returned to the cabin.
“Ziyuan, where are you going?” Gu Ziyan asked while following behind her.
“Ye Feng seems to know something about what happened. Let’s go and inquire for some explanations.” Yan Ziyuan replied honestly, finally reaching the cabin.
However, there was nobody inside, and Ye Feng’s shadow couldn’t be located anywhere.
How could that be?
She then quickly surveyed the back compartment, but still couldn’t catch any sight of him.
She and Gu Ziyan looked at each other.
Gu Ziyan exclaimed: “Perhaps he went outside! Let’s search there!”
The ship was entirely surrounded by water, Ye Feng couldn’t have possibly left without a sound.
But five minutes later, Yan Ziyuan was leaning on the mast.
HE WAS GONE!
HE WAS REALLY GONE!
She has examined every corner of the ship thoroughly, but still couldn’t find him!
Even though she couldn’t see him, her heart knew that he was present!
No matter where she went, he has always been present!
He just hid somewhere and appeared to save her whenever she met danger. Or he would silently follow behind her and solve any problems for her.
But this time, he was gone… He dumped the master here and would never return ever again…
Gu Ziyan was quiet while standing beside her… This was also the first time he has ever seen Yan Ziyuan being so weak… and being so helpless…
