Hearing that and recalling Fan Da’s warning, Di Bian frowned, he was dying to find out more information so he hung up the phone hurriedly.
Wang Boyi put aside the phone and looked at Di Qiuhe, waiting for his instructions.
“Chances are Assistant An is going to get a phone call from Di Bian or Qin Li.” Di Qiuhe put the magazine on the table and tapped on the table casually, “Keep an eye on Assistant An, she needs to know what to say and what not to say to Di and Qin.”
Wang Boyi nodded, then he left the room to make a phone call to Assistant An.
Di Qiuhe was a little put off by Di Bian’s call, he wished his puppy were here to cuddle him, then he looked at the time, his discontent on this photographer who was still on his way had grown.

A familiar ringtone came from outside the door the second he dialed He Bai’s number.

It should be a coincidence, a lot of people had this ringtone.

He Bai hung up on him, the ringtone had stopped outside as well. He stared at the door and he could feel his heart was pounding, but the door wasn’t pushed open after a solid few seconds, he cracked a smile to laugh at himself. Puppy, puppy, puppy, not a morning person for he should hang up on him like that.
Outside the door, He Bai muted his phone and he withdrew his hand which was about to knock on the door after a few seconds’ hesitation. He told a staff member to ask Di Qiuhe to get changed, and he sneaked downstairs and talked with the lighting team about the whole concept of shooting.
Not long after Di Qiuhe put his phone away, a staff member came to let him know they could start any time, the photographer was communicating with other members on the set. Soon there would be makeup artist take care of Di Qiuhe. Di Qiuhe took a look at the time, the photographer wasn’t terribly late, his mood became better, and he followed the staff member to the dressing room.
About half an hour later, Di Qiuhe was ready to go. He came to the setting on the staff member’s lead, and other staff member put on the watch on his wrist, a makeup artist was doing the final retouch on his face.
“What a nice watch”, a familiar voice came behind, and his wrist was held by someone, and the voice got closer with a touch of bantering, “it’s just the model isn’t nice enough to match this watch”, with it Di Qiuhe could feel the warm breath left on his neck, that was hoe close the voice was.
Di Qiuhe’s body got so tense, he didn’t turn back to look for fear he was hallucinating.
The staff members all knew that the photographer and the model were friends with their young master Niu Juejie. Seeing He Bai “attacked” Di Qiuhe, they were all smiling at them, some staff members took a few snaps to record the fun moments on the shooting set.

It took Di Qiuhe a little while to believe what was happening, he held He Bai’s hand, and he checked with the makeup artist whether it was okay to do the final retouching later. Then he turned around, whispering to He Bai, “What are you doing here on the set? You are here to keep me company, aren’t you?”
“Nah, I’m here for work, gotta make those dollars.”
Di Qiuhe was dumbfounded, again. He wanted to ask more questions, he was desperately to find out what was going on.
He Bai caught hold of Di Qiuhe’s hand, took a close look at the watch, and raised his voice on purpose, “This is one chic watch, so exquisitely designed, I think I have a shooting concept now. All right, people, are you ready, let’s rock and roll.”
Whole crew said yes loud and clear. The makeup artist smiled at the two of them and came closer to do the final retouching for Di Qiuhe, then he stepped aside and stood by other staff members.
Soon it was just them two standing alone by the camera, He Bai helped Di Qiuhe to groom hi hair and he said in a low voice, “a little bird told me that you are quite pissed off, yeah, because I showed up late.”
Di Qiuhe was just overjoyed knowing what was going on.
“Bai…”, Di Qiuhe stared at He Bai, he touched He Bai’s forehead, and a faint smile flickered across his face, he felt like he had so much that he wanted to say to He Bai, but he only said three word instead, “I am overjoyed.”
