When she asked that question, her voice was hoarse, perhaps because of all that crying.
Although she didn’t push Xi Mubai away, she still refused to give him any answers and she allowed him to continue hugging her like she was a lifeless piece of wood.
“Luo Zheng, do you think… I’m not sober?” Xi Mubai asked with a wry smile as his heart sank.
He then continued softly, “I know… what I’m talking about… and I also know… that you’re Luo Zheng…”
If she weren’t Luo Zheng, he would have long left.
Perhaps, this was the only time that Xi Mubai had no choice but to admit… that he had fallen for Luo Zheng unknowingly, even though he had tried to push her away in the past.
Yet, in the blink of an eye, he actually developed feelings for her!
Since it was the truth that he could not deny, he would just… admit it.
Perhaps, admitting to the fact that he had fallen for Luo Zheng, wasn’t as difficult as he imagined.
The only awkward thing about it was the fact that he couldn’t leave now because the effects of the aphrodisiac were in full swing!
“Listen to me… I got drugged by someone… be my antidote… ”
Xi Mubai asked in a pleading tone, even though he found it to be very absurd.
After all, he had yet to interact much with Luo Zheng and yet, he was already asking her to get intimate with him. It didn’t make sense at all!
However, he felt rather muddled up for a moment and he couldn’t control himself at all.

Luo Zheng found it to be rather amusing and ridiculous. She had never encountered such an absurd and ironic thing before in her life.
Xi Mubai actually said that he would marry her!
“Brother Mubai, you’re only saying that because you want to get intimate with me, aren’t you?”
She looked up at him with contempt and derision in her eyes.
Unfortunately, he seemed to be overwhelmed by his emotions and was too muddled up to hear the contempt in her tone. “Luo Zheng… I was drugged… and I couldn’t help myself. Are you willing, to give yourself to me… ”
The only solution Xi Mubai could think of was hearing Luo Zheng agree to his request.
However, Luo Zheng simply retorted coldly, “Do you really want it that much?”
Xi Mubai did not intend to answer but the more he listened, the more he found it hard to digest. He looked down slowly and glanced at her injured collarbones, after which he took sympathy on her and wanted to kiss them gently.
However, at the same time, he heard her chuckle before saying, “What a pity, Brother Mubai, you’re still kept in the dark even until now! Of course I know that you had been drugged! After all, I was the one who fed you the drink. No one would know better than I do… ”

A ray of lightning flashed past the night sky while it was raining.

He saw her irksome smile and realized that she didn’t deny it and instead said with a nod, “Yeah, how does it feel? Brother Mubai!”
