“Coming-of-Age Ceremony?”
Everyone was stunned.
1269 explained, “The grievances between the Ayang-Braend Clan and Xenomorphs have been going on for ages, or rather, these two tribes have been at war for tens of thousands of years.”
“Of course, this war is still ongoing.”
“After thousands of years of war, the two sides have already become deadly enemies, so the Ayang-Braends’ Coming-of-Age Ceremony is to hunt the Xenomorphs. The young ones will only be considered as adults after they kill nine Xenomorphs.”
1269 looked at the aliens standing in the cabin. “So, they came to this planet with the Xenomorph’s eggs, allowing the Xenomorphs to infest the creatures of this planet and grow, allowing them to hunt.”
“So, they allowed such a terrifying creature to appear on this planet just for a coming of age ceremony?” Ling Jiu asked incredulously.
There was no need to further emphasize how terrifying the Xenomorphs were. If they were to come to a planet like Earth, or the dinosaur planet, every animal will be screwed.
If it was not prevented, there could only be one result: the entire planet reduced to a paradise for Xenomorphs. How cruel was that?
“Yes, just for their Coming-of-Age Ceremony.”
1269 nodded.
“What a bunch of selfish pricks!”
Ling Jiu looked at all the aliens a little angrily.
“Selfish? You’re wrong about that.”
1269 faintly smiled and said, “In the eyes of the Ayang-Braends, be it Earthlings or the dinosaurs on the dinosaur planet, all of you are primitive creatures. It’s the same way you people see monkeys, gorillas, and Direbeasts.”
“Tell me, when you Earthlings slaughter Direbeasts, do you harbor any sympathy for them?”
Ling Jiu gasped. Harbor sympathy for the Direbeasts?
That was impossible!
“So, don’t say that they’re selfish.”
1269 shook his head and laughed. “In fact, between civilizations, there is no such thing as selfishness or cruelty. There’s only the naked law of the jungle, survival of the fittest.
“I understand!”
Ling Jiu took a deep breath as he looked at the aliens. “So, since they can see us as Direbeasts, we can return the favor because we see them as that too?”
“You catch on quick.”
1269 smiled and applauded him as it continued. “The Ayang-Braends are very strong, and their footprints are almost all over half the galaxy. If it weren’t for the applauded Xenomorphs blocking their path, the Ayang-Braends would have conquered the Milky Way long ago.”
“You mean, the two most powerful forces in the galaxy are now the Ayang-Braends and the Xenomorphs?” Emperor Might asked in a deep voice.
“That’s right.”
1269 nodded. “There are many civilizations born in the Milky Way, but the Ayang-Braends’ is the only one to reach the level of galactic civilization.”
“In contrast, the Xenomorph’s civilization is very low, and the reason why they could fight against the Ayang-Braends, is their terrifying parasitic ability.”
“The Ayang-Braends are strong. If we killed them, will we provoke vengeance?” Vulcan frowned and asked in a grim voice.
“We cannot rule out that possibility, but it won’t happen in the near future. The solar system is at the edge of the Milky Way, the Ayang-Braends won’t be bothered about you.”
1269 smiled. “Besides, this spaceship has fallen under my control, and I have a way to conceal everything that has happened here.”
“That’s good then!”
Vulcan heaved a sigh of relief as a murderous glint appeared in his eyes. “If that’s the case, then let’s kill them. Kill all these sons of b*tches!”
“Kill them all!”
Emperor Might gave the order and everyone charged out.
“Roar!!!”
There were still twenty to thirty aliens in the cabin and they naturally would not just sit still as they meet their deaths. They launched a brazen counterattack, but unfortunately for them, their combat power was only average.
The battle came to an end. After only five minutes, twenty to thirty corpses lay on the ground.
“1269, copy all of the alien technology contained in this spacecraft.”
Emperor Might ordered, “Then make a few more copies and send them to all major countries.”
“I knew you would do that, so I’ve done it long ago.”
1269 smiled and said. “The Ayang-Braends technology is mainly divided into four types. Elemental Mortification technology, energy shield technology, energy recoil propulsion technology, and warp navigation, technologies that can be assimilated by the technology level of you Earthlings.”
“That’s good then!”
Emperor Might breathed a sigh of relief, while the others were extremely excited. This was the technology of a galactic civilization. Once they had deciphered these technologies, the technology of Earth will undergo earth-shaking changes.
The rise of Earthlings… was just around the corner!
“1269, how long will it take to fully decipher the AYang-Braends’ technology?”
Vulcan could not help but ask.
“Decades at best.”
1269 said casually. “Of course, if you can gather a group of Arcanist scientists to conduct research, the process will be greatly accelerated.”
“After all, the brains and energy of the Arcanist scientists far exceed those of ordinary people. With them, progress will be much faster.”
“Oh, I see!”
Vulcan nodded before looking at Emperor Might. “Brother Might, how about we work together and decipher Ayang-Braends technology together?”
Emperor Might agreed without much thought. “That sounds feasible.”
“Then it’s settled.”
Vulcan immediately made up plans. “Let’s build a base on Mars, and then gather the scientific research talents from both Pangu and Vulcan to work together to crack the technology of the Ayang-Braends.”
“Yeah.”
Emperor Might nodded as he looked at Ling Jiu. “Ling Jiu, you have made a great contribution this time. If it weren’t for you, things may have turned out different.”
“Chairman…”
Ling Jiu smiled embarrassedly, as he prepared to speak a few humble words, he heard 1269 chiming in. “You really have to reward this kid big time. If not for him, you people would’ve not only been unable to gain the Ayang-Braends’ technologies, you might even have had a disaster upon your heads.”
“Ling Jiu, whatever you need, just mention it.” Emperor Might smiled.
“Boy, don’t bother being humble with us chairpersons.”
Seeing Ling Jiu looking somewhat embarrassed, 1269 also smiled and said. “He had a lot of good stuff with him. Even I want some of them.”
“I am also part of humanity…”
Ling Jiu scratched his head and then looked at the twenty-odd bodies lying on the ground. “Chairman, if you want to reward me, give me those bodies.”
“That’s it?”
Emperor Might was surprised and then shook his head. “These corpses are useless. If you want to take them away, feel free, but this cannot be considered a reward.”
As he said that, Emperor Might glanced at Vulcan and the others before continuing, “Your contribution this time to all mankind should be rewarded. You guys, you wouldn’t have a problem, right?”
“Of course there’s no problem.”
Vulcan smiled. “These aliens are from a galactic civilization two levels higher than ours. If not for Brother Ling and 1269, the one being killed today is not them, but us.”
“Perhaps, they would even place the Xenomorph eggs on our planet, and I don’t think I need to say much about what would happen then.”
“It’s no exaggeration to say that Brother Ling had not only saved us, he had also saved all mankind. If we don’t reward him, who else then?
“Make sense!”
“Yeah. You’re right.”
“He should be greatly rewarded indeed.”
With the world’s number one and number two powerhouses, Emperor Might and Vulcan already saying that, what else was there to be said?
More importantly, Ling Jiu’s contribution was indeed great and should be greatly rewarded.
“Since there are no objections, it’s decided then!”
Emperor Might put rest to the topic. “As for what the rewards will be, we’ll discuss it at a later meeting.”
“Yeah!”
The group of big shots nodded as they looked at Ling Jiu with a trace of envy in their eyes. Ling Jiu had done well this time, and his rewards would not be insignificant.
Even they got a little green with envy.
“Brother Ling, train hard and become a stellar lifeform as soon as possible!”
…
The crisis of the Ayang-Braends was temporarily lifted, and the group of big shots left the dinosaur planet with the alien spacecraft.
Ling Jiu was not in a hurry to leave as he followed the camp commandant’s instructions to guard the wormhole to prevent Xenomorphs or fauna of this planet from entering the Earth.
“28 stellar lifeform corpses!”
“I wonder how much can my body be improved after devouring them?”
A look of anticipation appeared in Ling Jiu’s eyes as he then devoured the 28 corpses into his Inner World. As the flames raged, the 28 corpses were slowly burned bit by bit.
A day later, all of the bodies were immolated, and they became the purest of life energy as they rushed into Ling Jiu’s body.
Baaaam!!
