As soon as He Shan’s hand reached the detonator, he was shot multiple times from both directions.
Everyone took cover and prepared for the worst but despite holding their position, they realized there was no detonation.

When everyone got up, Lu Beixiao was already rushing towards Ye Qiao’s position. He picked Ye Qiao up from the ditch she hid in like anyone would pick a cat up from the ground.
