“He Shan, there are a lot of things in this world that a self-righteous villain like you could never understand,” Lu Beixiao smirked and mocked.

He had long heard that He Shan has a secret vault where he hides stolen money. However, he did not know where it was. He Shan had never revealed its location even to his most trusted aide.
“Lead the way,” Lu Beixiao said in a deep voice.

“Hurry up and move!” Ye Cheng shouted as he pointed a gun to the back of He Shan’s head.
He Shan raised his hands in surrender and quickened his pace.
Lu Beixiao walked towards Pan Ling, who was being escorted by three shorter men. When she saw Lu Beixiao walking over towards her, Pan Ling was fearful and cried, “Ah Mu! Don’t, don’t kill me!”
“I will not kill you unless its necessary. Now, tell me the exact coordinates of the vault,” Lu Beixiao asked in a deep voice.
“It’s, it’s in the cave!” Pan Ling said in a trembling voice.
Lu Beixiao knew from one look at her evasive gaze that she did not know where the vault was.
“Kill her,” he said in a deep voice.
“No, no, no, Mu… I, I still have information on drug dealers all over the country. I’ll give the details to you. Don’t, don’t kill me!” Pan Ling realized that she had been exposed and quickly begged.
“Aunt Pan! I’m sorry but the distributors you mentioned have all been caught!”
The voice made Pan Ling turned pale in disbelief as if she saw a ghost.

Ye Qiao crossed her arms and stood beside the tall and heroic Lu Beixiao. Lu Beixiao put his hand on her shoulder and the corners of his mouth curled into a loving smile as he looked at her with a gentle gaze.
Pan Ling was unable to comprehend what was going on.
“I… I… Why didn’t I die, right?” Ye Qiao mocked Pan Ling with her lips curved into a smile.
Pan Ling nodded while her whole body trembled as she wanted to know what was her relationship with Ah Mu.
“Auntie Pan, I faked my death obviously,” Ye Qiao said with a smile,”I pretended to be dead for you actually.”
“Do you really want to know my relationship with him?” she asked as she turned to Lu Beixiao and then back to Pan Ling.
Pan Ling nodded instinctively.
“He’s my man!” Ye Qiao said domineeringly, “to be precise, he’s my husband.”
Thinking of what Lu Xiaogun had told her and what Pan Ling had said when she seduced Lu Beixiao, Ye Qiao’s eyes filled with hatred. She glared at Pan Ling and felt disgusted.
