Sigh!
The last bit of growth energy entered the plants, and I relaxed; it had been really hard to manage all this energy, but I did it, and the result was magnificent.
I now have eleven plants filled with resources that are in the Grand Lord class, two extras that I had thought. A few of the resources took less growth energy than I had expected, so I diverted to the other plants on the list.
All the twenty-four fruits on the metal essence tree had reached a Grand Lord class; the growth energy had played a part, but the biggest part was played by the dead bronze tree floating above; without it, it wouldn’t have been possible to take all the twenty-four fruits to Grand Lord class.
The combination of the two had also made the grow; it had now reached nearly meters tall, and fruits hanging on it looked like glittering stars.
I turned to stainless lotuses and saw true beauty; the thirty that had reached Grand Lord class looked amazing, but what was even more amazing was the aura they were giving.
They felt pure that I wanted to be in their company forever, but I could not. I have a huge challenge to finish, and the sooner I finish it, the safer I will be.
With that thought in mind, I got out of my core and opened my eyes.
As I did, the world felt clearer than before; my physical and soul senses had taken a leap with the advancement I had just gone through. The strengthening energy that Bearman had provided was huge; it had increased my strength by leaps and bounds and had also elevated the fear in my heart.
There was a fear in my heart that I would need to kill a shitload of Grand Lords to reach the limit; even 25% of the High-Grandmaster I had killed would have been an impossible task, as there are not many Grimm there, but now that worry had disappeared.
I had seen the sheer amount of strengthening energy that Bearman had provided, and I now had a fair idea of how much I would need to kill to reach the limit.
The number is still huge, and I might not be able to kill all of them; but even if I had been able to kill even half, it would be a huge help to me.
After seeing everything alright, I resumed my journey through the destruction.
Our battle had not lasted long, but the destruction it had brought was horrifying; this is in a place where the space is much stronger and the environment more resistant; on the mainland, the destruction would have been even bigger.
It took me a few minutes to get out destructed part of the forest, and just as I got out, I sensed a flurry of attacks, the majority of them being weak; there were some seriously strong that I had to give my everything to resist against.
This gives one quite an idea; destroy the forest as you walk, and you will face less resistance; doing that is not a big deal for Grandmasters and above, especially someone like me, who have the power of the Grand Lord, but doing is not wise; there is even word of warning in notes left behind and even by the Pyramid.
It is one thing to destroy parts of a forest during battle, but if you do that intentionally to lessen the danger, then the forest will get angry, and you do not want to make the forest angry; it could do things to you that are worse than death.
Which is why even Grimm is not doing that.
Hun!
Twenty minutes passed when I came across a Grimm again, a High-Grandmaster with a bloodline but did not have a core, but I still took it inside my core; I had done it so quietly that Grimm was shocked when it suddenly found itself in a completely different environment.
A few seconds later, trickling strengthening energy filled my body; the growth energy had also been released, but I did not control it. There was no need for it; all the plants had reached the High-Grandmaster class; as the growth energy spread, my clone just harvested excess resources that were produced.
They might not be useful to me at my level, but there are plenty of people who will be very grateful for them.
I had even asked my clone to plant a few seeds; these are not for me, but few of my friends; these resources are hard to come by, and since I have a seed and supply of High-Grandmaster, I might as well produce them.
Another hour passed, and I had killed three High Grandmasters; one of them had a bloodline.
As I reached closer and closer to the last leg, I began to encounter more and more humans and Grimms; some were journeying, while others were stuck in beguilement. I helped those who were stuck before moving forward.
Things are becoming more and more dangerous as I reach closer and closer to the last leg, especially for me, against whom the forest is coming out full force.
In the past hour, it had got me nine times; of the nine, four times, I have been out for more than a minute. Two times, I even tried to shout out my secret; thankfully, the silence formation had been activated in my armor. So, no voice could be projected out unless I deactivate it.
Two hours passed, and I once again killed the few Grimms, saved some humans, and got stuck by the forest attack tens of times, but I survived
I just need to survive three more hours before I reach the last, where there will be the biggest of this challenge, but this constant attacks from the forest will vanish, and so is fear of speaking my secrets out.
I think this is the biggest fear in the mind of humans and Grimm, and that is what the forest had latched on it. I have seen tens of humans and Grimms babbling their secrets out.
Hun!
I stopped once again as another Grimm entered the circle of my soul sense, and it was a normal Grimm, but a Grimm with the core. An inheritance core, but core nonetheless, these are most dangerous, not because of their power, but because of their potential.
They had the biggest potential to level up to Grand Lord, and this place gives them all those opportunities.

Killing each Grimm with core, I am lessening the chances of future Grimm Grand Lord appearing.
My strings moved toward it, and a couple of seconds later, the Grimm disappeared, and I resumed my journey, not even looking inside my core.
It is Grand Lords I am worried about; no High Grandmaster has been able to break through my core, and no one ever will be.
Half a minute later, it had turned to ashes, leaving behind powerful essence rose, which was directly transported to the formation, and the process of turning it into the fatal weapon began.
Before me or my clone were needed to direct the process, but after breaking through, I did not need to. I only needed to send the Essene rose, and the formation automatically would finish the job.
