It had been twelve days since my lesson had to begin, and we had literally traveled around the world, not only in our Academies territory but the territory of the whole central continent, and we even went to three minor continents which were wholly in control of humans.
It had been four days since I had been practicing the spatial travel with Councilwomen Marla, and except for getting it wrong a couple of times on the first day, I was able to get it right.
Since then, I had not made a single mistake; the earlier mistakes I had made due to the excitement, and when I calmed my mind and began again, I had not made a single mistake, and my accuracy also began to increase despite the increasing distance.
“Back to the Central Continent,” This is the sixth intercontinental trip that I did without any mistake. “I don’t want to inflate your ego by admitting it, but your progress is quite shocking.” “You are able to do perfectly intercontinental travel in less than a week while people took months to get it right,” she praised.
“Your words mean a lot to me, councilwomen marla,” I said respectfully, “Well, don’t get used to it,” she said.
“I have a request Councilwomen, I hope you will be able to help me with it,” I said, “I will try if it is within my power,” she said, instead of directly rejecting it.
“I want to take me to my native continent, Mariana Hill’s to be exact,” I said; hearing that, her eyes couldn’t help but become sharp. “You should understand what times it is; the pyramid had forbidden Tyrants from traveling to contested continents without its permission.” She said.
It is very sėnsɨtɨvė times, where both parties are preparing for wars on the lower continents, spatial travel would surely get discovered by sensors of both sides, and both humans and Grimm Monsters would come at us.
“I know, but there is one place I really have to go, and I tell you, going there would be extremely helpful to you too,” I said, and her sharp expressionless face loosened a little.
“Even if I want to help you, I can’t. The moment we tear through the space of the Silver Continent, we will be discovered by both sides, that will not only bring us trouble, but it would also be troublesome for the academy,” She said with a sigh of regret.
“You don’t have to worry about it; this will help us evade it,” I said and took out two pearls, on which a very dense formation is carved. These pearls are a great treasure; they could enhance the power of any formation, the two formations I have carved on them.
“You don’t have to worry about it; as long as we are quick to reach the place we want, nobody will be able to discover us,” I said.
“Snort!”
“You should not understand the power of those artifacts successor; if they were so easy to fool, they would not have been widely used for the thousands of years,” Councilwomen Marla said with the snort.
“I am not underestimating the danger councilwomen; I am just expressing the confidence in my methods to evade them,” I said. While her concerns are valid, I have something that no other has which could bend any rule of the world.
“Ok, then. I will consider this a test of your abilities, successor; I hope you will not disappoint me,” she said before entering the rift and entering inside.
I followed behind her, and we started to pass through the space sea and a half and stopped half an hour later. “Activate both of these pearls before tearing the space open, councilwomen,” I said and handed her both of the pearls.
Councilwoman took both of the pearls from my hands and activated them. The first pearl activated, and pink-red runes came out of it and covered us both in the formation, while pink-violet runes came out and flew out of pearl and tear open rift on their own.
I could see the shock appear on the face of the councilwoman as she saw the working of the two pearls, “These formations you have carved on artros pearls is amazing but strange material you have used in the formation ink even more amazing,” She said and looked at me in question.
I did not say anything and just looked at her with an expressionless face, seeing that she shook her head and stepped into the spatial rift opened by the runic formation, and I followed behind her.
As we stepped inside, the rift closed behind her, and formation flew back into the pearl. The formation had absorbed as the spatial fluctuations, even the most minute one.
I looked around and saw the hills around me. As I looked, memories couldn’t help but flood in my mind. I had spent quite a lot of time in these hills and made many advancements while adventuring here.
If not for the fortune I had found in these hills, I would not be standing here with my current accomplishments.
“We don’t have much time Micheal, the quicker we leave this place, the better it would be for us,” she said. I nodded as I calmed my emotion and flew toward the direction of the familiar forest.
We activated our skills, and the top of the formation covering us, so we would not be discovered; even hidden experts here did not have the power to discover us.
It took less than a minute to reach the familiar hill, and I saw the hidden entrance covered in vines and other things.. Looking at the signs around, it did not look like there had been anyone here over the years; still, I remained careful.
