Huo Yao raised her brow. She looked at Team Leader Liao standing in the lead with an intimidating aura. He had a soldier’s temperament and seemed a little aggressive. More importantly, he was giving off a hostile vibe now.
After glancing at him, Huo Yao nodded and said, “I see. Does this mean you want to throw me in lockup after I have settled your internet problem?”
Team Leader Liao looked at Huo Yao’s face. Despite her young age, she was able to solve the problem effortlessly, so it was only natural for him to feel surprised. “I told you, Young Master Min will handle Miss Huo’s security,” said Yang Yi after standing in front of Huo Yao.
“Mr. Yang, this is the Ministry of National Security. If you try to stop us, it might ruin our ties. What’s the point?”
Team Leader Liao did not want to listen to Yang Yi. He raised his hand and gestured for Huo Yao to follow him as he spoke firmly. “Miss Huo, right? Please come with us.”
Yang Yi narrowed his eyes and took a small step forward.
Before Yang Yi was able to react, Huo Yao raised her hand and patted Yang Yi’s shoulder. She stood up voluntarily without worrying about her safety and said to Yang Yi, “It’s fine. I will go with them. I am a citizen of the country, so it is within my right to enjoy their protection.”
Yang Yi’s cheeks trembled. He looked at Huo Yao worriedly before he nodded and said deeply, “Miss Huo, don’t worry. Yu will be here soon.”
He said Min Yu’s name particularly loudly. He was clearly trying to warn them to back off on account of Min Yu.
Team Leader Liao scoffed inside when he saw his arrogance.
Huo Yao waved her hand at Yang Yi. She followed behind Team Leader Liao as she said airily, “Don’t forget to tell him I want to be compensated for psychological damages.”
Yang Yi went speechless.
He watched as Huo Yao and Team Leader Liao disappeared into the corridor and took out his phone. Just as he was about to call his boss, he noticed that there was no signal on his phone.
He frowned and walked outside. Unfortunately, no matter where he went, there was no signal.
Someone had clearly used a signal jammer on the entire building.
Yang Yi instantly felt worried.

Min Jian cleared his throat and veered his eyes. He picked up the teacup on the table and took a big gulp before he continued.. “Why can’t we make modified versions of the gun?”
