The moment Jiang Mingyue insisted on an apology, a serious look emerged on Liu Qian’s face. He looked at Jiang Mingyue and wanted to speak up for Huo Yao, but Jiang Mingyue beat him to it.
“Mr. Liu, I understand Huo Yao is your student, so it is only natural for you to defend her. However, she started it and everyone has to be held accountable for their words and actions. I don’t want to be difficult. I just need her to apologize to my team.”
Jiang Mingyue spoke in a magnanimous tone and made sense. Liu Qian was never an aggressive man to begin with. The moment he heard what Jiang Mingyue said, he did not know how to respond for quite some time.
Before long, even his face turned red.
In reality, Jiang Mingyue was slapping both Liu Qiang and Huo Yao on the face.
Huo Yao leaned against the seat lazily as she turned her phone nonchalantly. She tilted her head sideways and looked at Jiang Mingyue. “All you have is 86% accuracy. Are you fit to accept my apology?”
The moment she finished her sentence, Liu Qian raised his head in shock.
Then again, how did the troublemaker know that the comparative test result was 86% accuracy?
Wasn’t she playing with her phone the entire time?
He did not recall anyone mentioning the result out loud earlier.
Jiang Mingyue did not stop to think how Huo Yao managed to say the numbers so accurately. “Are you a sore loser? 86% accuracy means the experiment plan is viable.”
Jiang Mingyue shook her head speechlessly. For the first time in her life, she had witnessed firsthand how there was no point in reasoning with a fool. She contemplated before nodding as she said mockingly, “That’s right. Since you don’t even know what is going on, how would you know what those numbers mean?”
Huo Yao raised her brow and replied airily. “That’s right. I only understand what it means to have 100% accuracy.”
Liu Qian’s lips twitched. She was at it again, trying to make trouble.
“100%?” Jiang Mingyue laughed softly. Sure enough, Huo Yao was a fool. “If you don’t want to apologize to us, just say so. We won’t die if you don’t apologize.”
“Are you saying you don’t believe in 100% accuracy? Is that what you mean?” Huo Yao uncrossed her leg and sat up straight for once.
“People can only get 100% comparative test results after countless trial and error. Does anyone ever get 100% success during the first simulation? Are you joking?” sneered Jiang Mingyue.
Jiang Mingyue was able to achieve over 80% for the comparative test during her second try. Hardly anyone else in the Biology department could achieve such success.
“I see. Is that your excuse for being stupid? That was quite an eye-opener.” Huo Yao nodded, sounding absolutely annoying.
Liu Qian cleared his throat uneasily. Although he was caught by surprise when the troublemaker was able to say the test results with such accuracy, he kept looking at her and hinted at her to stop talking.
After all, Jiang Mingyue was Qi Hui’s favorite student. If Huo Yao offended Jiang Mingyue, it was as good as offending Qi Hui. Huo Yao was just a freshman with no background. If Qi Hui wanted to make things difficult for Huo Yao, she will end up having a hard time at school. Also, she could forget about having any future.
Liu Qian knew Qi Hui’s personality well. He was a vindictive man and once, two students were forced to quit school altogether due to him.
