Jiang Mingyue looked annoyed. She wanted to wake Huo Yao up, but she changed her mind and told the teacher in charge of the library instead about Huo Yao sleeping here.
“… I get it if people want to rest during the lunch break, but this is the library. If everyone came here to take naps, what about the people who really need to use it? It is no different than hogging public resources,” said Jiang Mingyue eloquently.
The moment the teacher heard this, he frowned and stood up from his seat. “Mingyue, this is a good suggestion. I will add it to the rules of library use in the future.”
Jiang Mingyue’s head was slightly lowered to reveal her beautiful profile as she spoke with poise and smiled. She shook her head and said, “It is just my personal opinion. You didn’t have to take it so seriously.”
The teacher in charge of the library waved his hand and replied with a serious look on his face. “I know you are a good kid and mean well.”
He raised his head and glanced nearby and walked as he told Jiang Mingyue, “Why don’t you get back to your studies?”
Jiang Mingyue acknowledged him softly. She smiled as she watched the teacher walk towards Huo Yao. She did not go back to her seat but left the library altogether.
After Jiang Mingyue left the library, she texted the female freshman and told her she had to attend to something and asked her to help take her notebook.
She raised her chin loftily and left after sending the text message.

Meanwhile, in the library.
The teacher in charge of the library looked around and eventually found Huo Yao sleeping prone on the table.
He was already angry when he heard what Jiang Mingyue told him. Now that he had seen it with his own eyes, he was even more infuriated.
The teacher in charge walked over with a stiff look on his face and cleared his throat hard as he rapped on the table.
Huo Yao was only resting her eyes, so the moment she heard some noise, she raised her head. Her face looked languid and her eyes were still sleepy.
“Yes, Sir?” asked Huo Yao courteously as she sat up straight.
Since Huo Yao was a stunning girl, people tended to go easy on her and the same went for the teacher in charge of the library. The moment he noticed how polite she was, even though he was previously infuriated, his words got stuck in his throat briefly.
He finally cleared his throat and said, “The library is a place to read, so you shouldn’t sleep here.”
Despite his serious expression, his tone was relatively mild.
Huo Yao seemed apologetic right away. “Sorry. I won’t do it again.”
Since she had a good attitude, the teacher in charge of the library did not keep harping on the subject. He glanced at the book on the table and said, “If you are done reading the book, return it to the shelf.”
“Yes, Sir.”
The teacher glanced at Huo Yao again before he turned and walked off with his hands behind him.
After the teacher left, Huo Yao stood up and returned the book to the shelf.
Before long, she left the library and headed back to the Biology department.

Shortly after Huo Yao entered the classroom, Yuan Xi came over from the dormitory. Since she was a sociable girl, she automatically sat down beside Huo Yao now that they were friends.
“Did you go back home in the afternoon?” asked Yuan Xi as she looked at Huo Yao. She knew that Huo Yao did not have a room in the dormitory.
There were only five girls in the division, and the four other girls were all staying in the dormitory.
Huo Yao shook her head. “Nope. I was at the library.”
She opened her school bag and placed Prof Rong’s study plan into her bag.
Yuan Xi watched her place it inside her bag and vaguely saw the words ‘study plan’ on the cover.
