Huo Changfeng narrowed his eyes as he slowly moved the wooden bead bracelet on his wrist. “Give her a minute. She should be out anytime.”
“Uh huh.” Chen Ming nodded before he lay prone on the steering wheel. Moments later, he looked sideways at Huo Changfeng. “Chief Steward, don’t you have her number? Why don’t you call her?”
It was already past 6:00 pm, so even the last person ought to have finished the driving practical test.
Huo Changfeng pondered in silence. He already had Huo Yao’s number for a long time, but he never called before. It was mainly because they had never met officially and he did not want to get mistaken as some scammer and end up getting blacklisted. Wouldn’t it be embarrassing if that happened?
Chen Ming made a suggestion when Huo Changfeng did not answer. “Why don’t I make the call?”
Huo Changfeng glanced at Chen Ming and said deeply, “It’s fine!”
Chen Ming touched his nose without saying a word. Why did the chief steward suddenly get angry?
The driving instructor finally drove out of the driving exam center, so Chen Ming promptly straightened his back and said, “Miss Huo is inside that car. Shall we follow her?”
Huo Changfeng acknowledged softly and glanced outside the car window.
Although Master Jinyan urged him not to go to the Huo residence, he said nothing about seeing Miss Huo outside.
Chen Ming started the engine and followed behind the driving instructor’s car unhurriedly. There was a period of time when he had helped to protect Miss Huo secretly, so he was very good at tailing cars.
He was very good at staying hidden.

Huo Yao sat in the front passenger seat of the driving instructor’s car and checked her phone. Ever since the results were out, her phone had been beeping nonstop.
She was replying to Yi Lianfan: [How were your grades?]
Yi Lianfan sat in front of the computer as he looked at his grades before answering Huo Yao: [736 marks. It’s a lot lower than yours. *smiley face emoticon*.]
Huo Yao raised her brow and typed: [Have you forgotten that I am an Arts student?]
Yi Lianfan suddenly smacked his head when he saw the text message. He forgot that they were in different faculties.
He felt he could never become the top scholar in the college entrance exam, so he was only aiming to come in second.
Now, he suddenly bore hope.
Yi Lianfan recovered from his misery: [Thank you for not joining the Science faculty.]
She had successfully given the Science students a fighting chance.
He contemplated before he sent an emoticon with someone kneeling in respect.
Huo Yao: […]
Yi Lianfan: [Heehee.]
Huo Yao shook her head. She contemplated for two seconds and typed: [I recall the top scholar for Science scored 733 marks last year. Can you rank first with these grades of yours?]
Yi Lianfan felt hurt when he saw what she wrote.
He went quiet for a long time before he replied: [… If a dark horse like you didn’t suddenly show up, I would probably make it.]
Huo Yao: [Have some faith dude.]
Yi Lianfan inhaled deeply: […]
Was everyone an insanely good student like Huo Yao?
Yi Lianfan turned off his WeChat. After contemplating for two seconds, he called his homeroom teacher.
He was only able to access his own grades, but he did not know whether he would rank first in the Science faculty.
After all, he was not as brilliant as Huo Yao who had scored full marks. She did not have the same worries as him.
