Chen Ming nodded in agreement. “Master Jinyan was so sneaky about it. Whatever it is, Miss Huo is like half a daughter to Master Jinfeng since she is his niece.”
This was also the reason they called Huo Yao, Miss Huo, and not Little Miss Huo.
Huo Changfeng tapped his fingers on his knee gently before he said, “Master Jinyan might have plans, but we can learn a thing or two from him. Can’t we?”
Chen Ming cleared his throat before he pulled out one hand and gave Huo Changfeng a thumbs up. “All you have to do is give the order.”
“After we settle this, we can talk,” said Huo Changfeng after he contemplated it briefly.
“Sure.” Chen Ming nodded.
He paused when a thought crossed his mind before he said, “All the Shen family’s overseas businesses have been ruined. I have also told the people at the branch office to cancel all deals we have with them locally.”
Huo Changfeng looked out of the car window at the heavy rain. After some time, he finally said, “Good. It is about time we teach them a lesson about whom they should steer clear of.”
“That goes without saying.” Chen Ming pursed his lips slightly.
Anyone who attempted to bully Miss Huo was courting death.

Meanwhile, Huo Xiang had just finished eating when Huo Yao came back to the hospital ward.
She glanced at the takeout packaging and noticed that the food was from the same restaurant where she had just dined with Min Yu.
Huo Xiang took a piece of tissue and wiped his mouth as he looked at his little sister. “Even though you ran out to feast on your own, you had the heart to order me some takeout.”
Huo Yao pulled out a chair and sat down before she leaned into the seat backrest lazily.
Huo Xiang threw the take-out boxes into the trash can. His little sister happened to come back after Huo Changfeng left the hospital. He contemplated for a couple of seconds before he probed. “Oh yes. Did anyone unusual try to talk to you on your way back?”
Huo Yao glanced at him. “Nope.”
Huo Xiang heaved a sigh of relief the moment he heard this. From the looks of it, they did not bump into each other.
“What are you trying to ask?” questioned Huo Yao as she looked at him.
Huo Xiang paused before he continued. “Nothing much. Uncle Changfeng happened to come by to visit when you were out.”
Huo Yao raised her brow. “Uncle Changfeng? Who is that?”
“He works for our eldest uncle,” said Huo Xiang and scratched his head.
In reality, he did not know who Huo Changfeng was, in detail. He simply knew that he was their eldest uncle’s subordinate. Huo Changfeng was responsible for taking care of the local Huo properties.
The moment Huo Yao heard this, she smiled, unusually curiously. “What does our eldest uncle do for a living?”
“I don’t know much about him, but Brother Yulin ought to know more,” replied Huo Xiang.
Huo Yao acknowledged softly without continuing to probe. After all, she had never met him before. He was never around.
Her phone pinged in her pocket. She pulled it out and lowered her head to reply to her text messages.
She had not gone to school for days, so a lot of her classmates were very worried about her. Meng Ying happened to be texting her now.
She contemplated before she replied: [I’m going back to school tomorrow.]
She had not gone to school in these many days to help conceal Huo Xiang’s condition and find the culprit. Now that it was over, there was no reason for her to keep staying here.
After all, her term finals were taking place in half a month.
After replying to the text message, Huo Yao recalled the box containing Huo Xiang’s autographed pictures. It was probably still in his car, so she texted Tong Yu and asked him to bring them over when he was free.

In no time, it was the month end.
When Huo Yao had lunch with Min Yu a few days ago, he said he was leaving town, so she did not bother contacting him. She spent most of her time revising and researching medicine.
