The person was none other than Huo Changfeng. He had waited for some time in the hospital ward for Huo Yao to come back.
The moment the lift door opened, Huo Changfeng was caught by surprise briefly when he saw Huo Yao standing outside.
Although he had seen her from a distance, he was unable to see her face clearly. He had never seen her in such close proximity.
Huo Changfeng could clearly see her exquisite features and was surprised. She resembled Master Jinfeng remarkably and gave off a lofty aura.
She had innately cold air and was completely different from her older brothers.
She was composed, confident, and kept a low profile.
All her older brothers looked wary around Huo Changfeng as though he might eat them alive.
Only Huo Yao was different. After she saw him, she was unafraid. Also, it did not seem like she was pretending. She was extraordinarily composed.

A lot of thoughts swept through Huo Changfeng’s mind when he saw Huo Yao until the lift door almost closed. He snapped out of his daze and pressed the lift button.
Although he wanted to talk to her, his phone kept vibrating and prevented him from doing so.
If he did not have urgent matters to attend to, he would still be at the hospital ward waiting for her.
Huo Changfeng sighed disappointedly before he stepped out of the lift.
His steps froze as he walked past Huo Yao. However, it was ever so briefly before he swiftly walked off.
Never mind. There was always the next time.
Huo Yao entered the lift and pressed the button for the tenth floor. She raised her brow as she contemplated and looked outside when the doors started to close. She could see the man with a powerful aura gradually walking off.
The man resembled one of those men dressed in black whom she mistook as debtors when she first returned to the Huo family.
All of them seemed to be gangsters.
Meanwhile, Huo Changfeng was oblivious of the label pinned on him. Chen Ming started the engine as he said to Huo Changfeng when he got into the car. “Chief Steward, the plane is ready. It can take off immediately once we get there.”
Huo Changfeng acknowledged softly as he looked out of the car window. A thought suddenly crossed his mind and he turned to look at his assistant. “Go investigate Miss Huo in detail again.”
Chen Ming was surprised to hear this. “We have already done a detailed investigation about her. Why do you suddenly want it redone?”
Huo Changfeng recalled the previous report and felt it made Huo Yao seem particularly ordinary. The girl mentioned in the report seemed to be very different from Huo Yao in person.
“Stop talking so much. Just do as I tell you and redo the investigation.”
“Okay then,” replied Chen Ming sheepishly.
He paused before he continued to ask hesitantly. “…Did Miss Huo get scared when she saw you?”
Huo Tingrui had forbidden them to go near Huo Yao. He was afraid she would get startled by them, so all they saw were her pictures. None of them had spoken to her yet.
Huo Changfeng glanced at him sideways the moment he heard this. “Do you think she is like her useless older brothers?”
Miss Huo remained expressionless when she saw him! She did not fear him at all.
Chen Ming’s lips twitched. Useless older brothers? Only Chief Steward dared to speak so brazenly even though he felt the same way.
