“I see,” acknowledged Huo Xiang.
He continued to ask. “Have you met Yao before?”
“I haven’t had the opportunity to see her till now.” Huo Changfeng sounded disappointed.
He really wanted to meet Huo Yao officially. However, Huo Tingrui refused to let him see her on grounds that the people in the company, including him, would frighten her. Hence, he was yet to exchange a word with Huo Yao till date.
He was hoping that he would finally get to see her at the hospital today. Sadly, she was not around.
“Let me give her a call,” said Huo Xiang before he picked up his phone and prepared to call her.
“It’s fine. I will just wait for her to come back.” Huo Changfeng shook his head.
Huo Xiang did not insist. What if Huo Yao got scared by Huo Changfeng’s appearance?
After all, Huo Xiang was pretty afraid of Huo Changfeng.
In reality, Huo Changfeng did not appear scary. He simply had an imposing aura and seemed like a gangster. Also, he had rippling muscles and looked strong. At first glance, he looked intimidating and cast fear in people’s hearts.
Huo Changfeng was oblivious of Huo Xiang’s thoughts. He recalled the footage he saw of the accident and casually asked. “Do you practice driving often?”
“Huh?” Huo Xiang did not quite understand what Huo Changfeng was trying to imply and looked at him quizzically.
Huo Changfeng raised his brow slightly. He took out his phone and tapped on the video clip. “Your driving skills in here are pretty good.”
Huo Xiang looked at the video and quickly realized what Huo Changfeng was talking about.
He replied sheepishly. “It wasn’t my driving that saved us. It was Yao. If she did not control the steering wheel, we would have gotten into a terrible accident.”
The moment he brought it up, he could not help shiver a bit.
Huo Changfeng found this inconceivable.
Since he knew of Huo Xiang’s average driving skills, he was very curious about how he had slowed the car down. Also, he wanted to meet Miss Huo officially. Hence, he came over to the hospital.
“Does she know how to drive?” asked Huo Changfeng.
Huo Xiang scratched his head. He recalled Huo Yulin asking the same question the other day. He told Huo Changfeng that Huo Yao had read something about deceleration using friction in a book.
Huo Changfeng contemplated for two whole minutes in silence.
She was just experimenting with what she learned, but she was capable of avoiding an accident like a professional racer.
That might be good enough to convince someone as gullible as Huo Xiang.
Huo Changfeng glanced at Huo Xiang.
Huo Xiang felt puzzled when he sensed Huo Changfeng’s gaze at him.
Huo Changfeng did not go on talking about the traffic accident. He simply chatted with Huo Xiang as he waited for Huo Yao to come back.
He was getting increasingly curious about her.

Meanwhile, Huo Yao had already walked out of the hospital and got inside Min Yu’s car.
Min Yu drove as he glanced at her right hand. “How’s your hand?”
Huo Yao raised her hand. The bandage was already removed and only a simple band-aid was plastered on her hand.
She nodded and replied. “Your cream was very effective. It started to show effect after a single day’s use.”
It was comparable to the cream she was planning to make for herself.
Min Yu acknowledged softly before he said, “After using it a few more times, it will prevent any scars from forming.”
Huo Yao raised her brow. She naturally knew what the cream was for. She looked out of the car window before she asked. “Where are we going? Will it take too long?”
“A Cantonese restaurant nearby. I have already made reservations, so we don’t have to wait for a table.” Min Yu paused before he continued. “I told the restaurant to send some food to your fourth older brother as well.”
Huo Yao turned to look at him when she heard what he said.
