Zhuo Yun sat beside them with his phone swiping through social media. The more he looked, the angrier he became.
“Are they a bunch of idiots? How could all of them believe that they are in a questionable relationship just because they were standing together in a picture? I don’t understand why people buy this nonsense.”
Zhuo Yun had followed Huo Yao’s social media account when she set it up previously.
A lot of people left comments on Huo Yao’s social media account when someone pointed out that the woman standing beside Fang Chen in the photo was Lucky’s little sister.
A lot of people were scolding her online. Zhuo Yun kept an eye on the number of fans Huo Yao had on her social media account. In less than 30 minutes, she had lost almost 20 000 fans.
Yang Yi raised his head to glance at him before he continued searching for the IP address.
Zhuo Yun kept cursing and swearing about the whole situation. Before long, he received a call. His face turned serious and he straightened his back to answer it.
After a brief conversation, he hung up the phone and his phone pinged again.
This time, it was a notification of an incoming email.
“We already found the source of the photos.” Zhuo Yun tapped on the email as he said, “Miss Huo’s foster father, Lu Hongwen, sent someone to take the photos and sent them to the disciplinary board as well.”
Min Yu narrowed his eyes. “What for?”
Zhuo Yun glanced through the contents of the email before showing the email from his subordinate to Min Yu. “Lu Corporation wanted to bid for a city project. I am guessing he is out for revenge now that he has failed to win it.”
Zhuo Yun paused before he continued. “I also heard about Miss Huo’s foster mother looking her up at school recently. I think her foster family found out that she was acquainted with Fang Chen, but Miss Huo refused to help. Also, Fang Chen’s colleagues are displeased with his promotion, so the moment they received Lu Hongwen’s photos, they acted on the complaint right away.”
Min Yu handed the email back to Zhuo Yun after he was done reading and looked cold. “I think so too.”
“Even though the Lu family was not responsible for posting the picture online, it was anonymously sent to a news agency. It is a highly reputable news agency in town and the editor happens to be friends with someone in city hall,” scoffed Zhuo Yun.
Despite their discretion, they were incapable of escaping their intel network.
It was easy for them to uncover the plot.
“I have found the IP address. A few anonymous accounts were created using the same IP address. The computer was registered to someone called Luo Ling. I can confirm Luo Ling is working for Wu Miao as her assistant,” said Yang Yi as he looked at Luo Ling’s resume on his computer monitor.
The moment Zhuo Yun heard about Wu Miao, he immediately remembered who she was. “Was Wu Miao the one who posted Miss Huo’s personal information online?”
“It seems so.” Yang Yi stretched his neck left and right before placing the laptop on the coffee table.
“This woman kept making trouble for Miss Huo while they were on the entertainment program. She could not pass up on the opportunity to ruin Miss Huo’s reputation.” Zhuo Yun saw right through her ploy.
“Women can be so scary when they get jealous.” Yang Yi frowned.
Zhuo Yun’s eyes landed on Min Yu. “Now that Miss Huo’s personal information is out in the open, I am sure it will affect her greatly if it is not taken care of since she is still a student.”
“Also, it is no use deleting the post now. Deleting it will only end up causing more trouble.”
Min Yu’s eyes looked cold as he said coolly, “Send the report to Fang Chen first.”
