Zhao Lian quickly yanked the Physics professor away before he could ask anything further. The other professors naturally said nothing and went along their way.
After they left, Yi Feiyu heaved a long sigh of relief. He felt completely sapped after the encounter.
“These professors are very influential in the academic circle. Oh God! I get so terrified each time I see them,” muttered Yi Feiyu.
Huo Yao glanced at him quietly. Regardless of age, it was a student’s natural instinct to be afraid of their teacher.
Although Yi Lianfan did not seem as frightened as his cousin, he was still stunned by their imposing aura.
Yi Lianfan could not help looking sideways at Huo Yao. She was certainly far more confident, considering how composed she was, when she spoke to the professors.
Was she really a young girl?
She was completely unperturbed!
“How did you get to know Prof Zhao?” asked Yi Feiyu curiously.
Huo Yao went silent for two seconds before she replied. “It’s not that I know him. I simply met him once.”
Yi Feiyu could not help touching his nose. Did they only meet once?
Judging from how friendly Professor Zhao was behaving earlier, it certainly did not seem like a simple encounter.
“Feiyu, Huo Yao and I will go back to the hotel. If we bump into any more professors, you might land into trouble,” said Yi Lianfan.
Yi Feiyu scratched his head awkwardly. “Sure.”
“Thanks,” said Huo Yao to Yi Feiyu politely.

Shortly after Huo Yao and Yi Lianfan left Tsing University, the Principal finally recalled what he had forgotten and called Huo Yao.
Huo Yao looked at the majestic Tsing University school gates with the phone in her hand.
“… We just left Tsing University.”
The Principal headed out of the hotel entrance as he said, “Wait for me at Tsing University. I’ll be right over.”
Zhao Lian wanted him to bring Huo Yao to the Biology faculty, but it had slipped his mind.
Huo Yao instantly stopped walking and asked him quizzically. “Why?”
Yi Lianfan halted beside her too.
“Do you remember Prof Zhao? I want you to meet him.”
“Oh, we already bumped into him on campus,” replied Huo Yao candidly.
The Principal was about to cross the street when he heard this. “Have you met?”
“Uh huh,” answered Huo Yao softly. She recalled how the professors looked like they were off to an important meeting and added softly. “I think he is busy.”
She was implying that they should not hold Professor Zhao up.
The Principal contemplated before saying, “Fine. Since Lian is busy, I won’t disturb him. In any case, he has a pretty good impression of you.”
The Principal hung up the phone shortly.
Since then, the Principal got blacklisted by Zhao Lian for a long time.
Huo Yao placed her phone inside her pocket. They reached the hotel before long.
The National Quiz Contest was over, and the results would get released only at 3:00 pm. Their flight was scheduled for 7:00 pm. Many of the students were discussing in the group chat regarding where to go during this time.
The Dean reminded them to be careful before letting them go.
Huo Yao sat in the chair to rest after she got back to her room. After contemplating briefly, she sent Min Yu a text message.
