1542 The Work Of A Genius
Huo Yao was very envious.
It was probably much more than he said.
Min Yu cleared his throat. “We are out of groceries at home, so we need to head to the supermarket.”
Huo Yao replied calmly. “Okay.”
Before long, the car pulled up at the supermarket parking lot.
When they got out of the car, Min Yu retrieved two masks and handed one to Huo Yao.
“You are well prepared.” Huo Yao raised her brow and glanced at him.
Half of his face was covered with a black mask so that only his deep, cool eyes could be seen. Even though most of his face was hidden, he gave off a cool dignified aura.
Huo Yao tutted softly before putting on the mask quickly.
Min Yu held her hand and entered the supermarket like a normal sweet couple.

After buying the groceries, the two of them went back to the estate.
Min Yu did not let Huo Yao help and went to the kitchen by himself.
Huo Yao crossed her arms as she stood at the kitchen entrance looking at Min Yu preparing dinner calmly. She had to admit that he looked like a professional chef.
After standing briefly, Huo Yao’s phone rang in her pocket. She took out her phone and glanced at it before heading to the living room.
She sat down on the couch and opened her mailbox to see an email from J with an attachment.
After going quiet for a second, she finally opened the chat box and replied: [This is the work of a genius. It’s brilliant!]
When J received the text message, his lips twitched. He replied: [I have no idea who did the work, but I have to say this is good.]
Huo Yao leaned into the couch backrest lazily with a confident look on her face: [Uh huh. Then what are you waiting for? You should collaborate with this genius.]
Liu Qian seemed a little anxious and looked worried earlier. Since he was her teacher, she had to help him.
[That was just the thing I wanted to talk to you about. I’m coming to the capital for a work trip in a couple of days. Shall we meet up in person?]
Huo Yao always called herself ‘his daddy’ and J had been curious about her for far too long.
Huo Yao crossed her legs and adjusted her position. It was hard for good friends to talk about business, so she replied: [Your father won’t be in town.]
J asked: [Didn’t you say you were a student? How did you suddenly leave town?]
Huo Yao replied with a straight face: [Sigh. I’m going to an academic conference. I know my son hasn’t gone to college before, so maybe you can Google it.]
J smiled as he read the text message. He could not be bothered exposing Huo Yao’s lie. [Fine. Maybe next time then.]
Huo Yao replied: [Sure thing. Hope work goes smoothly for you!]
As J read the text message, he had a feeling that Huo Yao seemed to care a lot about the project.
J paused briefly without replying to her. He swiped down his phone book to the local office’s number and told him to make arrangements to set up a meeting.

When Wei Yong received the call, he was still at the institute. He was in a good mood after having a chat with the representative from DO Corporation and settling on a meeting time.
“Sure thing. See you at 10:00 am at the institute then. Can’t wait to see you.”
Wei Yong hung up the phone when they were done talking. He smiled as he looked at his computer monitor.
Initially, he did not expect DO Corporation to get back to him so soon. They surprisingly came to a decision to meet them after seeing the files sent by Qi Hui.
Wei Yong tutted to himself. From the looks of it, the students from Tsing University knew a thing or two.
