1540 Encountering Someone From The Song Family
Wen Ping and Li Chenhui glanced at each other quizzically. They were unsure why Rong Jun reacted this way. He made it sound as though Huo Yao was a stubborn young woman.
In their opinion, Huo Yao seemed to be very easy going.
Li Chenhui did not care about the money, but he paused briefly and volunteered first. “I will talk to her about it.”
Rong Jun raised his brow and glanced at him. “Sure.”
Li Chenhui touched his nose. Something seemed amiss with the look on Rong Jun’s face.
He did not think deeply about it. Instead, he turned around, sat down in front of the computer, and started fixing the problems, which Huo Yao had highlighted, along with Wen Ping.

After leaving the Physics department, Huo Yao did not go back to the Biology department. Instead, she headed out of the campus to go home.
She was here to register for the new term and no classes were held on the first day of school.
Before she got to the school entrance, her phone rang in her pocket.
It was Min Yu’s call. “Are you still at school?”
“Uh huh. I’m planning to go home,” said Huo Yao languidly holding the phone.
“Wait for me at the entrance. Be there in a few minutes.”
“Okay.”
Huo Yao hung up the phone and walked over unhurriedly.
A posh white car gradually headed towards the university entrance at the same time.
Ji Ya sat in the car as she looked out of the car window with her mother seated beside her. Her mother kept nagging at her, but she did not feel like answering.
She suddenly saw a young woman walking on the pedestrian walk.
She was dressed in a white coat and had a tall slender frame. Her coat moved slightly from her movement. Even without looking at her face, she gave off an elegant and dignified aura.
Ji Ya’s eyes promptly lit up. She had only spoken to Huo Yao a couple of times but she had a deep impression of her.
Huo Yao was gorgeous and she was also Prof Rong’s disciple. The moment she saw her, she naturally recognized her.
Ji Ya told the chauffeur to slow down. “Stop the car next to the girl dressed in white.”
The chauffeur promptly acknowledged Ji Ya.
Song Qi noticed her daughter looking out the car window, so she automatically looked over as well. Since she was unable to see the young woman’s face, she was unable to recognize Huo Yao.
“Is she your classmate?” Song Qi asked quizzically.
“Nope. She’s from a different faculty,” replied Ji Ya gently.
Song Qi promptly lost interest and veered her eyes without talking. Instead, she took out her phone to check it.
After the car pulled up beside Huo Yao, the chauffeur sounded the horn.
Huo Yao halted briefly and turned to look at the car by the road.
Ji Ya opened the back seat window and tilted her head out slightly. “Hi!”
Huo Yao found the girl familiar and quickly remembered her. “Hi, Ji Ya!”
Ji Ya smiled and said, “Where are you heading? I can give you a lift.”
“I’m good. My friend is picking me up.” Huo Yao tactfully turned down the offer.
Ji Ya did not insist. “Okay then. Talk again.”
“Sure thing,” acknowledged Huo Yao without looking inside the car.
“Bye-bye then.” Ji Ya waved her hand.
“Uh huh.” Huo Yao nodded courteously.
The car window gradually went up before Song Qi finally raised her head and looked out of the window calmly. The moment she saw the young woman, the calm expression on Song Qi’s face cracked.
It was Song Ning’s daughter.
Song Qi thought about the incidents that had transpired last year and automatically clenched her fists.
The car engine had already started as the young woman disappeared into the distance.
