An ominous feeling flooded Yuan Huan’s heart when he saw the acupuncture needle in her hand again. He disregarded the pain he was in and looked at her cautiously. “What are you trying to do? Don’t you want to know Min Yu’s whereabouts?”
The acupuncture needle gleamed threateningly under the light. Huo Yao looked at Yuan Huan mildly. “Sometimes, you have to pay for underestimating others.”
The moment she finished her sentence, she moved her hand and plunged the needle into an acupuncture point on Yuan Huan’s head.
After Huo Yao was done with Yuan Huan, she veered her eyes from him. She walked up in front of Yuan Xi and took her pulse. When she confirmed that Yuan Xi was fine, she was relieved.
Huo Yao did not wake up Yuan Xi. Instead, she glanced around her room until her eyes landed on a phone on the table and she walked over.
The phone belonged to her, but Yuan Huan had turned it off.
Since they were underground, she was unable to get a signal after turning it back on. However, she could see two unread text message notifications on the screen.
Huo Yao tapped on WeChat and saw the messages Min Yu had sent her. She thought about the things Yuan Huan had said. She proceeded to activate computer mode and swiftly typed some code.
Before long, a virtual map popped up on her screen with a red dot indicating a GPS location. The place was not far from here and would take roughly ten minutes to get there by car.
Huo Yao wasted no time. She put away her phone and quickly carried Yuan Xi into the car.
Before leaving the room, she walked up in front of the test apparatus and narrowed her eyes looking at the numbers on the screen. She tapped on the keyboard a few times and the screen instantly turned black.
After she was done deleting the data, she carried Yuan Xi out of the basement.
Since the property belonged to Yuan Huan, no one was standing guard outside and Huo Yao managed to leave smoothly.
She quickly drove towards the GPS location showing on the map.
Even though Huo Yao seemed calm, she had floored the gas. Whenever she encountered traffic lights, she did not bother to stop. She was driving a white MPV, but she was driving it like a race car.

Meanwhile, Min Yu had arrived at the address provided by Yuan Huan. The moment Min Yu entered through the warehouse doors, he was surrounded by men wielding weapons.
The man in the lead was a beefy foreigner. Even though he was wearing a black mask, his frightening tattoo could be vaguely seen behind his ear. Min Yu recognized the tattoo and knew his identity.
His eyes narrowed and he became concerned. He was a foreign mercenary called Cheetah and ranked fifth in the industry.
They had certainly splurged on him this time.
“Where is she?” Min Yu’s voice sounded completely calm. His imposing aura did not weaken the slightest even when he was surrounded by weapons. Instead, it became even stronger.
None of the men dared to let down their guard in front of Min Yu.
Their target was known to be a master of weapons. Using weapons was child’s play to the man.
Cheetah was in the lead. He could understand some Mandarin, but Yuan Huan did not give him the details, so he did not know who Min Yu was talking about.
Cheetah was sent to bring Min Yu back, so he did not care about what the guy wanted and could not be bothered to even ask. He simply stretched his neck and cockily gestured to Min Yu that he was a dead man.
Others might be scared of Min Yu, but not Cheetah. After all, he had legitimately earned his ranking.
The moment Min Yu saw Cheetah’s gesture, something exploded inside him. His murderous aura intensified and the warehouse felt freezing cold. He disregarded the weapons pointing at him and walked over to Cheetah. “I’m going to ask you one last time. Where is she?”
