Zhuo Yun looked sideways as he started the engine and saw her using her phone. He could see a virtual map on the screen. He touched his nose and veered his eyes.
Even though he did not know what Huo Yao was doing and was curious, he did not disturb her.
Huo Yao held her phone and looked at the screen. She kept looking at the stationary red dot with her eyes narrowed.
Deputy Chairman Qin’s assistant had sent an email and she had discovered the sender’s physical location. Ever since then, the red dot had not moved.
She did not expect to squeeze any intel out of Qin Zheng about the fake Shangguan Yu. She had deliberately divulged her intention to make him wary of her.
Sure enough, she caught Qin Zheng’s assistant sending an email after she hacked into the association’s network.
If it were any ordinary e-mail, she would not pay attention to it. Since it happened to be an encrypted email and even the recipient’s identity was secure, she could not help feeling suspicious about it.
After looking at the contents of the email, she knew the recipient was just the man she was looking for.
As she pondered, Huo Yao’s phone rang. She glanced at the number, put on her earphones, and pressed answer.
“Miss Huo, we couldn’t find anyone here.” Chen Ming paused before he added. “It looks like it has been uninhabited for some time.”
Huo Yao narrowed her eyes. Someone read the email shortly after it was sent, so it was impossible for the place to be empty. “Wait for me. I’m nearly there.”
Before long, she hung up the phone and turned off the computer mode on her phone.
Zhuo Yun stepped on the gas on hearing this.
A few minutes later, the car drove straight into a posh estate. After Zhuo Yun spoke to the security guard, the security guard let them pass without signing in.
“Miss Huo, is there any way I can help?” Zhuo Yun pondered and asked Huo Yao after parking the car in the underground parking lot.
Huo Yao spoke as she undid her seatbelt. “Not today. I’m good. Thanks.”
Zhuo Yun did not continue insisting. “In that case, I’m but a phone call away.”
“Uh huh.” Huo Yao nodded. She opened the car door and got out of the car. She headed straight toward the lift nearby.
Zhuo Yun watched from behind as Huo Yao disappeared into the lift. He contemplated and sent his boss a text message to report the situation before driving off.

Huo Yao went straight to the 11th floor. When she walked out of the lift, she saw Chen Ming standing at the staircase.
“Hi, Miss Huo.” Chen Ming came toward her.
Huo Yao nodded. “Hey, Uncle Ming.”
“I have already sent someone to check surveillance, but no one was seen entering the premises,” said Chen Ming as he walked toward the first unit.
Huo Yao stood with her hands in her pockets and did not respond right away.
Before long, Chen Ming took out a card and swiped it on the lock. The lock let out a beep and the door opened.
Huo Yao glanced at Chen Ming’s card. She paused briefly and entered the apartment.
It was a three-bedroom apartment done up in the modern style and black and white color scheme. On the whole, it gave off a cold vibe.
Judging from the interior, it did not seem to be occupied.
Huo Yao glanced around the living room and then walked into a bedroom unhurriedly.
Chen Ming quietly followed behind her. Even though they had already checked that the place was empty, he remained vigilant.
