The technician thought that his ears were playing tricks on him. Why would Chen Ming keep bringing up Miss Huo?
His lips parted, wanting to speak.
Chen Ming knew what he wanted to say, so he raised his hand and interrupted the technician. He took the laptop from the technician and turned it off without hesitation.
The technician was stunned, but it was too late to stop Chen Ming.
He looked at Chen Ming in surprise before he finally said moments later, “Ming, if we don’t do something about the surveillance, Young Master Yulin will…”
Chen Ming narrowed his eyes briefly and said, “Let’s not forget. Miss Huo and Young Master Yulin are biological siblings. She would never joke about this.”
The technician instantly went quiet.
Chen Ming shut the laptop. He thought about the way Huo Yao had hacked the communication system and said, “Miss Huo was able to hack the communication system. Do you think she is good with the computer? Would you be able to hack the system remotely?”
The technician was instantly stumped. After some time, he muttered and replied. “I don’t know how good she is, but I know I would never be able to hack into the system remotely, not in ten years.”
As he spoke, he thought about the entire hacking affair.
The technician had tried repeatedly but to no avail. However, it suddenly worked. He finally figured out why it suddenly worked.
The more the technician thought about it, the more excited he felt. He was a hacker, so he was naturally impressed that someone had managed to break into the institute’s system.
Chen Ming glanced at him and said, “We just have to wait and stop getting in her way.”
The technician went quiet.
He had a feeling that Chen Ming was mocking him for his failure.

Meanwhile, on the second floor of the institute.
Huo Yulin darted through the surveillance camera blind spots in the corridor, dressed in black with his cap pressed down low. The black mask on his face concealed most of his face.
Unless it was someone he knew, he was completely unrecognizable.
The drug research facility was located in basement two. There were a few emergency exits in the corridor. Also, there were surveillance cameras overhead and concealed infrared detectors throughout the facility.
The security was so good that not even a fly could enter undetected.
Huo Yulin stood at the emergency exit with his hand on the mike, trying to see if he could get a signal.
After several months of observation, he knew the place like the back of his hand.
He was unable to communicate with Chen Ming. Moreover, Chen Ming did not confirm that they had hacked into the institute’s security system, so he could not go in just yet.
Also, he was unable to reach Chen Ming on the communication network. This meant the institute’s signal jammer was still active.
Huo Yulin leaned against the emergency door without moving. He stood warily as he waited for the signal from Chen Ming.
The security guards underwent a change in shifts every five hours. If Chen Ming was unable to hack into the security system, he had to use plan B.
Huo Yulin glanced sideways in the corridor.
Since the security guards were not ready to change shifts yet, it was hard for him to execute plan B.
Just when he was considering his options, a mechanical voice could be heard over the mike.
“You only have five minutes.”
