“Uh huh. Got it.” Huo Yao did not take it to heart.
The ID was not important to her.
She opened the box and glanced at the Chinese herbs to check that everything was there before closing the lid.
From the moment Zhuo Yun had taken the box, he did not touch it. Now that Huo Yao had opened it, he realized it was filled with Chinese herbs.
He raised his head and glanced at Huo Yao. He recalled Assistant Wang mentioning a deputy chairman. He promptly muttered in his heart. Was he talking about the Apothecaries’ Association?
Zhuo Yun pondered briefly before he asked. “Miss Huo, have you been to the Apothecaries’ Association?”
Huo Yao placed the box on the coffee table and shook her head. “Nope.”
Zhuo Yun did not continue probing. If Miss Huo had become the Apothecaries’ Association’s Deputy chairman, it was impossible for him not to know. After all, the association was highly revered in the capital.
It was unlikely for him not to get wind of this already.
Zhuo Yun raised his head and saw his boss working in the kitchen and said, “Now that I am done delivering this, I’m leaving.”
Gooseberries were fragile, so he did not want to get beaten up by Min Yu.
Zhuo Yun quickly took off.
Huo Yao went to the bathroom after dinner. When she came back, she checked the time and wanted to take her things and go home.
Min Yu was sitting on the couch and looking at something on his phone. Huo Yao walked over and was about to tell him she was leaving when she heard a sound coming from his phone. Her temples throbbed promptly.
Min Yu had finally found the time to look at the surveillance footage sent by Yang Yi. The moment he saw the red car going past the first bend, he was slightly intrigued.
This driving resembled someone he knew.
Huo Yao could not bear listening to the video, so she cleared her throat. She quickly collected her box from the coffee table, and said particularly calmly, “I am going back.”
If she did not leave now, she would blow her cover.
o/s Yo
Min Yu pressed pause and looked at Huo Yao before standing up. “Okay. Let me send you.”
Huo Yao smiled guiltily and waved her hand. “Huh? It’s fine. Keep watching. I can go back on my own.”
Min Yu glanced at her. He could tell that something was off about her. He put the phone down and took his coat from the side. “Let’s go.”
Huo Yao glanced at the phone on the coffee table. She pondered if she should hack his phone.
After taking a couple of steps, Min Yu noticed Huo Yao did not keep up, so he turned. “Huo Yao?”
Huo Yao gathered her thoughts. There was nothing unusual on her face. She followed quickly behind him. “Let’s go.”
Min Yu raised his brow.

Min Yu went back home after sending Huo Yao back. He sat on the couch, raised his head, and rubbed his brow. Before long, he straightened himself and picked up his phone. He tapped on the surveillance footage and continued watching it.
Min Yu quickly finished watching the video of the first race. He narrowed his eyes and tapped on the one for the second one.
‘When he saw the 360 degree turn, he was certain that it was Liu Yu who had disappeared for two years.
Min Yu rubbed the phone screen as he contemplated. He tapped on the footage and blew up the image. Unfortunately, the drones suffered from certain filming constraints. Also, that woman was wearing a helmet, so it was impossible to see her face at all.
He tried looking at it from a few other angles, but it was useless.
Min Yu thought about some things from the past before he called Yang Yi.
Before long, the call got through.
“Give me all the racecourse surveillance footage,” said Min Yu somewhat deeply as he leaned against the couch.
