Qin Feng did not leave immediately after he had helped these people settle down. Instead, he prepared an ambush around the fort.
The fortress was like a beacon in this world, beckoning any human survivor to venture to it. When the Gorefiends saw the humans running in the open, they would chase after them to the fort. Qin Feng, naturally, would then kill all of the pursuing Gorefiends.
To the humans, this fortress was the only safe place they could go. To Qin Feng, this was the best hunting ground. As long as he remained here, Qin Feng could keep on killing the Gorefiends.
Of course, the Gorefiends were growing stronger too. They only needed blood to keep on growing. And when the world collapsed, most humans that were stranded here were merely civilians who had little means of defending themselves. In a few quick strikes, these humans would die and bleed out a lot of blood. Hunting these weaklings was the Gorefiends’ quickest way to grow stronger.
Not only that, they could also multiply via cell-separation.
Hence, even though Qin Feng had slain numerous Gorefiends, their number did not dwindle at all—instead, their number went up!
The members of the Fengli Organization did not dare to venture into the ruins. However, they could find a lot of ultra beast corpses around the ruins’ edges. These corpses’ blood had been completely sucked dry by the Gorefiends. As such, these bodies had little value to the Gorefiends.
However, to the members of the Fengli Organization, these corpses were treasures. Therefore, they collected all these corpses. To them, the more they collected these treasures the better; this was why they hoped that the headquarters would send more people down to accomplish this.
Still, after witnessing how dangerous these Gorefiends were, the Fengli Organization deemed it too risky to send more people to aid them. After all, this place was so treacherous that even A-tiers needed to be extra cautious when venturing the area!
Nonetheless, these employees still kept on collecting and salvaging the corpses. They kept on working tirelessly because they knew this was all worth it. The place was literally a treasure cove!
In just one day, they had accumulated a great deal of treasures and sent them all back to base using their highly advanced aircrafts.
The Fengli Organization was the winner yet again by the end of the day.
Then, night came. The whole world was enveloped in pure, crimson darkness. Even the moon in the sky was red in color.
Aside from that, there was also an eerie, hidden power that loomed the night, curing and repairing the plants that had been destroyed in the day.
Looking at the spooky blood moon, Qin Feng realized that this entire phenomenon in the Blood River Realm was caused by this massive moon.
And the logic behind this was something Qin Feng could never work out. It was beyond human comprehension why this could happen.
On the second day, Gong Ge approached Qin Feng with a proposal.
“What’s this? 1 billion credits? You want me to escort you out with this money as a reward?” Qin Feng smirked, “In your dreams, mate. And lemme tell you. Your speculations about this whole realm were all wrong.”
If Qin Feng were some newbie who had just come to this realm, he would think the same like them too. However, Qin Feng had the memory from before he was re-born. As such, he knew that the entire Blood River Realm was like this—mutated, red plants and Gorefiends.
Right now, as another realm crashed into this world, this realm finally had some life breathed into it. However, these newly arrived creatures could not survive in this Blood River Realm. There was water. No food. No shelter.
Right now, this fortress was not just a secured location for the humans, it was also a prison!
“Mr Qin, perhaps my money is a little low to ask this much of you. Would you help me if I pay you 2 billion? 3 billion? No… I’ll pay you 5 billion credits! Would this work?” Gong Ge did not give up and kept trying to persuade Qin Feng. Of course, every time he raised the reward, he would then earn less from this venture, making it mentally painful for him every single time he raised the offer.
Qin Feng, on the other hand, was not interested at all. Instead, he outright rejected Gong Ge and left the place the next day—there was another dimensional crack appearing on the other side of the realm and many ultra beasts were flooding in from that side. This meant that the Gorefiends would congregate to that side now.
Still, thanks to the dark runes that were left scattered around by Qin Feng when he was slaying the Gorefiends, the Gorefieds did not dare to go near the fortress.
After Qin Feng left, Cleaves and his gang finally arrived too.
When they saw these new machines’ arrival, Gong Ge and his people were stunned. Their original realm did not have high-tech machines like these.
After doing some investigation, Gong Ge and his men fell into despair again after learning that Cleaves too was an outsider.
“If everything outside has become like this, there’s no way we could leave!”
“Let’s just wait it out a little longer. At least we’re safe here!”
“But… our food supply has reached an all-time low!”
“Sh*t! And we can’t find anything that’s edible in this realm too… when there’s another dimensional crack, we must go out and hunt a few ultra beasts!”
Hence, these people could only live on in this realm under such terrible conditions. The Fengli Organization was the first to discover their existence; so, under Qin Feng’s orders, they sold some grains to these people with a steep price.
Still, Gong Ge and his men were not entirely conned by Qin Feng. These grains contained a great amount of energy in them! Hence, the price was somewhat fair.

A week later, news about Blood River Realm spread like wildfire. There was news that the ability user that killed the Gorefiends had consumed the blood concentrated crystals and noticed that his lifespan had been increased!
Upon learning this, every single high-tier hermit had come out of their hiding!
No matter how powerful one had become, a short lifespan was still a human’s greatest curse.
Thus, no matter how rightful they felt that this entrance to Blood River Realm belonged to them, the North African Republic Alliance could not stop anyone from venturing into this realm.
How could they stop these people? Every single one of these people were powerful behemoths that seemingly came from their deepest fears.
At the Styx’s shore, the people who were salvaging the corpses in the river suddenly felt a freezing chill in their surroundings. This was not an illusion. In fact, they saw snow starting to fall from the sky as the river began to freeze up.
Then, from afar, they could see a grey-hair man walking on the frozen Styx. He looked like he was taking a relaxing stroll on the river—every step he took was slow and nonchalant. However, each step brought him hundreds of meters forward. Everywhere he went, his surroundings were frozen like it was back to the Ice Age.
Seeing this, the prospectors who were salvaging the corpses too stopped their tasks and stared at the old man. From afar, it seemed like they too were frozen solid too.
They could not move at all upon seeing this man. It was like an instinct telling them to be fearful of this old man, like a deer staring at a train’s headlight.
The old man then walked straight into the dimensional crack from the Styx, without wearing any protective gear at all.
Still, everyone felt that this old man did not really need the gears.
Because this old man was someone perhaps stronger than an S-tier.
If Qin Feng were here, he would definitely recognize this old man.
They had met once.
The old man was Hu San—the protector of the Northern Region!
When everyone thought they could finally relax after seeing Hu San entering the Blood River Realm, they felt that the original freezing temperature had suddenly skyrocketed by several dozen Degree Celsius! The Styx was not frozen anymore. In fact, the river’s water appeared to be boiling hot! Some people’s clothes were even caught up in a blaze.
They quickly took off their burning apparels in shock.
“Argh!! It’s so hot! What’s going on?!”
“What’s that…?”
“It’s… huh?! There’s another one?!”
