Three hours ago, Mohrian’s anger toward the humans had been completely put out after such a long battle. The powerful strike earlier was supposed to be its final attempt at getting at Qin Feng and Bai Li; no matter if it succeeded or not, Mohrian had decided to stop after delivering that blow.
Yet now, Mohrian’s anger was lit up again.
They had wounded its core. Now, this was personal!
On the other hand, Qin Feng too was quite angry too—he was angry at how powerless he was. He felt that he was too powerless to protect Bai Li.
And of course, he was quite angry at Mohrian too.
Qin Feng now felt that Bai Li was right. Killing this A-tier fire dragon was probably a good idea. If they could pull it off, he could acquire enough energy and power to ascend straight to A-tier.
Qin Feng’s life thus far was paved with blood. As such, he might as well add this beast deity’s blood to his collection!
Therefore, Qin Feng retracted his Sacred Water Meteor and infused his Verdant Emperor Saber with his internal energy before dashing straight at Mohrian!
Kill!
He must kill Mohrian!
Right now, the murderous intent that was fuming out of Qin Feng’s presence was so overwhelming that it was terrifying to watch!
Seeing that Qin Feng had retracted his Sacred Water Meteor, Mohrian too felt that there was no need to pull punches anymore. The rage and anger that it was feeling were not less than what Qin Feng had.
Thus, the man and beast deity were clashing in the air yet again.
Qin Feng, Mohrian and Bai Li were the kind of creatures that could fight for several days without rest.
And thus they fought feverishly for three days!
The battle was so fierce that it had now brought them to a completely different region than where the Dusk Dragon’s stronghold was at. Still, Qin Feng knew that sooner or later there could be some other humans that had detected their battle.
Still, he did not care now.
Right now, Qin Feng felt that his combat prowess was growing rapidly. This was not the kind of growth that he experienced through absorbing and digesting others’ powers—this was the kind of growth when one was slowly mastering one’s skills via actual practice!
Right now, Qin Feng was the weakest of the three in this battle—he was still a B3-tier ability user after all.
Thus, when Qin Feng’s conscious energy was starting to run dry, he decided to switch his strategy and opted to use his internal energy to continue on fighting. After that, when his internal energy too was running low, Qin Feng switched to brawling head on with his own body.
If things got out of hand, he could still rely on his Sacred Water Meteor to perform a suicidal attack.
During these three days, Qin Feng’s rune equipment, pills, crystal cores and ultra beasts’ flesh were rapidly expended. His Sacred Armor too was now almost completely ruined.
Slash!!!
Pffft!
Seeing an opening, Mohrian swiped its claws at Qin Feng; as a response, Qin Feng instinctively activated his Phantom Shift and morphed into dozens of mirror image clones, dashing toward multiple directions.
As the clones were running, a carpet of fire enveloped all of them. This had caused them to vanish into thin air, leaving Qin Feng facing Mohrian alone again.
Not only that, Qin Feng’s arm was wounded from the attack.
This meant that his Sacred Armor was completely crushed!
Seeing this, Bai Li instantly zipped to Qin Feng’s side and activated her spatial powers. In a flash of silver light, both of them were teleported away.
Mohrian extended its claws and ripped a huge hole in the dimension in front of it. It was not a difficult feat for an A-tier beast deity to do this—it was now almost as powerful as an S-tier ability user.
Besides, this was not the first time Mohrian had to pull this trick to counter their teleportation—Qin Feng and Bai Li had done the same thing throughout their battle. Mohrian had to locate these two in the shortest time possible if it did not want to face a recovered Qin Feng.
This time, when it arrived to where they had gone to, Qin Feng had already slain a B3-tier beast general! The beast general’s energy was being rapidly drained by Qin Feng, recovering his own energy. Not only that, as the beast’s blood was slowly drying up, Qin Feng’s wound was also healing rather quickly.
Qin Feng raised his head and saw Mohrian. Without hesitation, they rushed toward one another and started to fight again.
Qin Feng’s body was not as tough as Mohrian’s; so, it was quite difficult for him to withstand the dragon’s powerful strikes over a long period of time. However, Qin Feng was wielding his Verdant Emperor Saber. This thing had cut open Mohrian’s steely skin, making the dragon bleed multiple times throughout their fight. This had, in turn, resulted in Mohrian needing to tread lightly when taking on Qin Feng.
As such, even if its physical capabilities were tenfold stronger than Qin Feng’s, Mohrian was not able to get an upper hand.
Right now, Mohrian’s body was covered in a layer of dark red. This was not the color of the fire dragon’s shiny red scales—it was the color of a mix of solidified blood and mud!
This long battle was still a tie after being drawn out for three days!
Mohrian let out a loud, furious roar again.
This time, Qin Feng could sense that its anger was not directed toward him. It was, instead, directed at someone else.
Then, in the next second, Mohrian slashed open a dimensional hole and squeezed through it.
“What’s going on…? Is it running?” Qin Feng frowned. Despite saying this, he could still sense that something was off.
The dragon still had vigor in it. As such, it was quite unbelievable to see it running away at this moment.
“Should we follow it?” Bai Li asked.
The silver fox’s lovely eyes were clouded with exhaustion. From the moment of her birth until today, Bai Li had never had to fight something so hard before.
Still, Bai Li was able to grow a lot from this three-day battle too. It felt as though she was baptized by this ferocious battle!
“Yeah, let’s see what’s up.”
Qin Feng was not sure if he could still slay Mohrian. However, he was curious to find out what was going on.
Bai Li was able to locate Mohrian the same way it did to them earlier. This was, in fact, much easier for her because she had a natural aptitude for spatial abilities.
In a leap, both of them saw that they were now in a different location. There were no clouds, no sky. Just red. Just dark, red light everywhere they looked.
Squinting for a short moment to get his eyes accustomed to the new environment’s light, Qin Feng found that he was in a place filled with fire-type minerals around him. This was the kind of minerals where powerful fire-type ultra beasts lived.
Qin Feng had never been here before but he could easily tell where this was—it was Mohrian’s lair.
Mohrian’s lair was within a cave of an extinct volcano—there was no lava, only fire-type minerals within it. When he raised his head, he could see that the cave’s ceiling was so high up that he felt that he was a little frog trying to measure how high the sky was.
Suddenly, they could hear fearful cries from within the lair. It was the cries of terrified humans.
“Moh… Mohrian! It’s the beast deity Mohrian!”
“He’s back!”
“Run! Mohrian’s back! Run for your lives!”
In a brief glance, Qin Feng was able to recognize who these ability users were.
They were the same group of people who were visiting Hell Island. It did not take long for Qin Feng to guess the reason these people were lurking in Mohrian’s lair.
Mohrian was fighting him for three whopping days. This meant that its lair was unguarded during this whole time too. Therefore, it was quite natural for these people to come and try to loot something from it.
Of course, they were not sure that Qin Feng could slay Mohrian. However, this was the day that they were going to leave the island. As such, they thought that they could try their luck at its lair before they left.
This was an opportunity to get rich in just one night!
Still, they had underestimated Mohrian.
The beast deity could detect Guan Jinhau despite him being a master of stealth. And Guan Jinhau himself was not gutsy enough to actually step into Mohrian’s lair to steal something directly from it.
Therefore, it was quite easy for Mohrian to know someone was stepping into its home.
Now, these greedy fools had been found! They were doomed!
