Little Mr. Gray Wolf went silent for a couple of seconds before he pulled out a small pouch made out of animal hide from his wolf skin that he had been protecting –
It was made out of clean, snowy white rabbit fur. It had a little bit of his blood on it now.
“Aowu. (herbs).” Little Mr. Gray Wolf looked calmly at the little female pig demon. He then bent down and placed the little leather pouch on the ground.
He wasn’t there to steal; nor did he steal any food.
He just learned that a nice demon who had once helped him out was sick and wanted to bring over some herbs.
He did not want to rob Zhuzhu of her father.
Nevertheless, no demons were willing to believe him with the exception of Ruan Qiuqiu who appeared out of the blue.
Little Yuan Jue took a peek over at Ruan Qiuqiu with her strange mask on stealthily. His ears started to burn in explicably.
Who was she? Why was she here? Why was it that no other demons could see or touch her?
She said she believed him. Was she special? Was she a little human that only existed in his imagination?
As such, she was so small and fragile.
If he chose to leave now, would she leave with him?
Little Mr. Gray Wolf had no idea how to describe how he was feeling right now. He, who was a big wolf deep down inside, perfected inherited gray wolf Tianluo’s temperament. As much as it was roiling inside of him, he let none of his emotions showed on his delicate and pretty face.
Ruan Qiuqiu saw that after Little Mr. Gray Wolf had finished all that he had done, he lifted his hand, wiped away the blood and dirt from his face, and turned and was about to walk away.
The pig demons from the water pig tribe did not try to stop him, nor did they show much much kindness.
“Hey! You muted one! My dad does not need your herbs!” Zhuzhu was the first to walk up and was about to stomp on the herbs left behind by little Yuan Jue.
Ruan Qiuqiu narrowed her eyes. Weighing the rock in her hand, she threw it hard where Zhuzhu’s feet was.
Startled, Zhuzhu took two steps backward and fell onto the ground.
Ruan Qiuqiu’s lips curved upward but she did not stop. She continued to repay the other pigs who had mistreated her wolf baby with her rocks.
“Darn! Are there monsters here?” The male pig demon leader was somewhat intimidated. It was said that the closer one was to the forest, the more likely they would run into monsters. He couldn’t help but cussed in a low voice. Then, giving Yuan Jue a vicious stare, he tossed out ruthless words, “Just you wait! Stop crying Zhuzhu. Let’s go!”
Ruan Qiuqiu was still mad when she watched the group of pig demons retreated.
Her body was too small and too weak right now. As hard as she was throwing the rocks, they didn’t hurt them at all.
If most of the pig demons in the groups were not youngsters and that they were not so intimidated by Little Mr. Gray Wolf and monsters, they would not have been driven so easily.
Even though Ruan Qiuqiu was able to scare them away, the little leather pouch that Little Mr. Gray Wolf had left on the ground was still stomped on by Zhuzhu during the chaos.
Ruan Qiuqiu squatted down and picked up the leather pouch that had been stomped on.
Out of respect for Little Mr. Gray Wolf, she did not open it up to see what kind of herbs were inside of it. She merely held it in her hand but she could still tell that the herbs inside had been crushed.
Ruan Qiuqiu held the pouch in her hand carefully. She was met with a pair of burning, starry eyes.
Little Mr. Gray Wolf stared her intensely with an indescribably look. Ruan Qiuqiu had barely lifted her eyes when she fell into his pair of pretty greyish-blue eyes.
This was the first time Ruan Qiuqiu had looked into Yuan Jue’s eyes and also the first time she noticed that there was such burning light hidden in his sight-seeing eyes.
Little Mr. Gray Wolf, who still wasn’t very good at hiding his own emotions, did not realize that all of his emotions had already escaped through his eyes.
