Luo Chenxi was shocked and she quickly turned on the lights before she turned around.
The man was sitting on the sofa in the corner. His tall and slender body leaned against the armrest. He had a cigarette in his hand and looked a little haggard.
Then, Mu Yichen looked at her as a deep and unfathomable light flashed in his eyes.
Then, Luo Chenxi widened her eyes. “You’re here? Why didn’t you turn on the lights? You scared me. Don’t you know that people can get scared to death because of that?”
Mu Yichen looked at her without saying anything. His face was expressionless as well.
Luo Chenxi noticed that there were several cigarette butts in the ashtray beside him and immediately said in dissatisfaction, “Why did you smoke so much? Didn’t I tell you last time that smoking is bad for your health? You promised me to quit smoking! By the way, is Tang Tang asleep?”
Mu Yichen frowned slightly but didn’t say anything.
He listened to the little woman’s sweet voice as she rambled on, controlling her husband whilst being concerned about her daughter’s daily routine.
She was like a virtuous and caring little wife…
When Mu Yichen still didn’t say anything, Luo Chenxi finally felt that something was amiss.
Hence, she turned around and saw that he had an ugly expression on his face. ‘Is he throwing a tantrum because I came home late?’
At that thought, Luo Chenxi sighed and walked over.
Then, she grabbed the man’s wrist with one hand and took out the unfinished cigarette from his fingers with the other hand and threw it into the ashtray.
“Alright, can you stop being so tsundere? I just had a meal with a friend! Do you have to get angry because of that? Tang Tang is more magnanimous than you!”
As she said that, she reached out and tugged at Mu Yichen twice. Seeing that he refused to move, she could only lower her head and kiss him on the face.
