Yan Jinyi blinked with some confusion.
Seemingly sensing something, Huo Xishen suddenly wrapped her scarf around her neck and cupped her cheeks with both hands, completely covering her face.
Their lips were pressed together tightly in a romantic manner. When Huo Xishen took the initiative to lean closer for a deep kiss, Yan Jinyi began to feel giddy.
After a long time, Huo Xishen finally pulled away slowly. His deep and dark eyes were full of joy and his forehead was covered in some sweat but his smile was getting wider and wider.
Yan Jinyi took a deep breath and couldn’t help but reach out to cover her lips with her hand. Suddenly reminded of something, she glowered at him and questioned, “Turns out you’re such a good kisser, huh? Doggy Huo, are you sure this is your first kiss?”
Huo Xishen shook his head with a serious expression on his face, “No.”
“You lied to me?”
Yan Jinyi placed her hands on her waist and was about to lash out at Huo Xishen but he quickly said casually, “I had my first kiss taken away from me a few days ago.”
‘A few days ago? Doesn’t that mean that someone’s aura is still lingering around his body?’
Yan Jinyi rubbed the back of her hand forcefully and tugged his collar tightly as she questioned with a murderous gaze, “Tell me, which hussy did you kiss? Does she have any STDs?”
Huo Xishen looked her in the eye and said, “Darling, you forced a kiss onto me a few days ago.”

“You took my first kiss and now you’re in denial?”

Yan Jinyi humphed and let go of his collar.
“Darling, you’re jealous,” Huo Xishen said ambiguously.
“I’m jealous?” Yan Jinyi pointed at herself and retorted rhetorically, “You must be joking, how can I possibly be jealous?”
She stretched her muscles and said, “You’re the last person who can make me jealous. Stop smearing me.”
Huo Xishen didn’t answer her and simply stared at her quietly.
‘She refuses to admit to her feelings.’
By the time they returned home, it was already late at night and Zhang Guoquan was standing in the courtyard, ordering the servants to clean up. When he saw Yan Jinyi and Huo Xishen coming home hand-in-hand, he almost dropped the electronic tablet that he was holding.
Yan Jinyi was in quite a good mood today so she didn’t glare at Zhang Guoquan fiercely as she usually would.
“Zhang Guoquan, why do you have to carry an electronic tablet with you everywhere you go?”

He subconsciously looked at Huo Xishen and realized that the latter seemed to be normal, though there were some sweat droplets on his forehead.

Zhang Guoquan shuddered and answered, “Second Young Mistress Huo, many of the electronic devices are smart devices that can be controlled remotely. This electronic tablet serves as the remote control of those devices.”

Yan Jinyi asked curiously, “Can I take a look?”

Yan Jinyi’s face grew sullen and she glared daggers at Zhang Guoquan. She insisted in an intimidating tone of voice, “Let me take a look at it.”

He was already at the age of retirement and ought to be enjoying the rest of his life at home instead of getting threatened by Yan Jinyi here.
