Before Song Qingchun could ask the question in her mind, Cheng Qingchong answered her pre-emptively, “CEO Su is still busy, so he had me wait here for you.”
Song Qingchun smiled but didn’t answer. Cheng Qingchong waved for Song Qingchun to come in and led her to the elevator.
The elevator stopped at the fifteenth floor. Song Qingchun followed Cheng Qingchong out of the elevator. Then, the secretary led her to the private room at the end of the corridor. Cheng Qingchong knocked on the door before pushing the door open a sliver. A wave of ear-splitting music drifted out from within. Cheng Qingchong raised her voice to yell, “CEO Su.”
After about half a minute, Su Zhinian walked out from the room. He closed the door behind him, and the cacophony of noises stopped. The corridor was much quieter.
Cheng Qingchong stepped away from the corridor and respectfully stood to the side as she added, “CEO Su, Miss Song is here.”
Su Zhinian nodded and walked to stand before Song Qingchun. Actually, the original arrangement was really only to have dinner with CEO Lee, but after paying the bill, CEO Lee suggested they go to the karaoke.
The business deal was at its last discussion stage. Su Zhinian was afraid that if he rejected the invitation, the months of hard work would have been lost, so he had no choice but to call Cheng Qingchong from her house and have her wait for Song Qingchun at Eldorado’s entrance.
He lowered her body and told her apologetically, “It might be a while before I can pull myself away.”
“It’s okay, work is more important.” Song Qingchun smiled at him.
Su Zhinian remembered Song Qingchun hadn’t had dinner, so he asked, “Are you hungry?”
Song Qingchun shook her head. “Not that hungry.”
Even though she said she was not hungry, Su Zhinian still turned to Cheng Qingchong and ordered, “I’ll stay to accompany CEO Lee and the rest; you take her downstairs to have dinner.”
“Yes, CEO Su,” replied Cheng Qingchong.
After he got Cheng Qingchong’s promise, Su Zhinian turned to Song Qingchun and said gently, “Go have dinner downstairs first, when this is over, I’ll go find you.”
After he said that, Su Zhinian thought about it and added, “Is that okay with you?”
Song Qingchun nodded. “Sure.”
Su Zhinian turned to glance at Cheng Qingchong. Cheng Qingchun understood his meaning, and she moved forward, smiling at Song Qingchun, saying, “Miss Song, let’s go.”
Song Qingchun nodded once more, and she told Su Zhinian, “Then we’ll leave first.”
She waited until Su Zhinian replied with a “hmm” before she turned to follow Cheng Qingchong.
When they almost reached the elevator door, the elevator opened to vomit out a group of girls. A waitress walked in front, and behind her was several pretty, young girls. They had exquisite make-up, and it seemed like they were in some kind of costume party. Some had on bunny costumes, another a school-girl costume; the common theme was the lack of fabric.
When the waitress walked past Cheng Qingchong and Song Qingchun, she nodded politely at them before leading the group of girls away.
Due to their eye grabbing outfits, Song Qingchun couldn’t pull her gaze away from them. She studied them closer and realized the oldest among them was probably only 24, and the youngest was probably barely 18.
The elevator had closed when they reached it. Cheng Qingchong pressed the button and waited patiently for the elevator to arrive while Song Qingchun continued to spy on that group of girls.
