Inside the hidden tunnel, Rong Yi wanted to shout for help. But the huge pains nearly made him cry, “What the fuck? I’ve been looking for it for so long, and the trigger turns out to be set under the bed of the original Rong Yi!”
No matter who it was, one would never expect that this useless waste would have a trigger in his own room. Besides, the trigger was set in a peculiar way. It was not that you could open it only by pressing it.
Rong Yi then crawled up, and used his thunder fire to light up this place. It was all empty, only a long tunnel ahead of him.
He raised his head and shouted up there, “Bu Qi, Bu Qi, can you hear me?”
No response from above!
Rong Yi guessed that the sound here should have been sealed from the outside. So he took out a few flying runes and flew up and knocked the spot where he fell off, “Bu Qi! Bu Qi!”
He called a few times but got no response. Then he tried to break the spot using his thunder fire and magic weapons, but it was broken a bit.
Rong Yi then landed on the ground. Looking at the tunnel ahead, he was wondering whether that was the place Rong Weiyi had been guarding.
He then tossed the thunder fire at the tunnel before. And the light illuminated the whole tunnel, on both sides of which were wet stone walls. Besides, the tunnel was pretty long, even beyond the reach of his eyes.
Rong Yi waited there for an hour, but still Bu Qi didn’t get down, he even didn’t hear any sound from him. So he decided to leave a note at the spot where he was standing and then went in to check things out.
It was very quiet, and he could hear ticking sound of water drips, and also sound of wind, which meant this place was not a dead place. It should have some other exits.
Rong Yi also didn’t know how long he had walked. Suddenly he heard someone talking, but the sound was too low, he could not hear what the other party was talking about. He he couldn’t tell whether it was a good or bad person, so he just didn’t open his mouth to catch up a talk.
After half an hour, he finally passed through the tunnel, but that sound was still very low. It felt so close to him like that person was just whispering by his side. Then he saw a pool giving off blue light which lit up the whole cave.
Rong Yi scanned around but saw no one.
There were three exits on the other side of the pool, from the left one of the three sounded that someone was calling for help with a hoarse and low voice, “Help me! Please! Help me!”
It gave Rong Yi goose bumps all over and he subconsciously backed off. Suddenly it felt like someone gave him a push and he got sprung away.
He instantly looked back but no one was there.
Rong Yi touched the exit back to where he came from and found it sealed by something unseen, leaving him no chance to go back.
“Someone out there! Come help me! Come on!” Then that sound came into his ears again.
He stared at the tunnel on the left. Suddenly a white shadow flew out and instantly flashed into the tunnel in the middle.
His heartbeat instantly sped up. He thought that thing was targeting at him!
Rong Yi quickly took out his magic weapon-a long sword, and looked around alertly, and then walked slowly toward the entrance of the cave.
He cast a glance into the center of the pool. Though the water was giving off blue light, in the center it was pitch black, like a bottomless cave.
Rong Yi then withdrew his eyes and looked over to the entrance on the left. It was dark in there. He could see nothing, but the voice was still saying, “Please! Help me! Please…”
He neither walked in nor used his thunder fire to see what was going on in there. His experience from the ancestors told him that that sound was some kind of bewitching scene. He’d get himself in danger if he got close to it.
Rong Yi then walked before the entrance in the middle. It was quiet inside, as quiet as it gave one the false feeling that it was very safe in there. Then he walked to the left one and the sound was heard again. This time he could feel the wind blowing out of it.
Hesitating for a bit, he used his thunder fire to light up this place, only seeing that one half was a stone path while the other half was a stream which flew into the pool outside.
That tunnel was about 1 li (li is a Chinese unit of measurement, 1 li equals 500 meters.) long. Rong Yi walked while keeping about 2 cun’s (cun is also a Chinese unit of measurement, 1 cun equals about 33.3333…cm.) distance to the wall. Every step was extremely careful in case he might touch any trigger in here, otherwise he’d be damned given his present ability.
After passing it through safely, a pile of level nine divine ingredients immediately appeared before his eyes, “Holy crap! So the original Rong Yi’s father is so wealthy? All are level nine divine ingredients and spiritual stones! No wonder all Rong family ask the ingredients from me!”
Rong Yi squatted down, wanting to pick up some to check whether they were real. But the moment he was about to touch it, he gave it up.
Then he stood up, tossed his head. No! He shouldn’t get glamored by anything here. If he touched things in here, he might never be able to get out.
Rong Yi then hurriedly left the big cave. The road he took next was even and quiet, making him feel like he was the only one left in the world.
“Yi!”
Suddenly someone called him!
Hearing that familiar voice, Rong Yi instantly raised his head, only seeing a pretty man with short hair was standing before him, waving the hand anxiously at him, “Yi, what’s wrong with you? Has the photo driven you nuts? Don’t scare me!”
Rong Yi was surprised, “Second brother?”
