Seeing that Lu Xiao and Zhen Ya had been attacked, the moderator stepped out and scolded Zi Ling. “No fighting in the living quarters! Get out now! You’re banned from the dormitory for a month!”
Zi Ling stared at her. She was reminded of what a sycophant the woman was and how she treated Feng Wu.
Zi Ling smirked. “I have no problem with you helping Zhen Ya, but do you know how Mr. Luo got injured?”
It was Feng Wu who had done it. Because of the injury, Mr. Luo was still bedridden.
The moderator stared at Zi Ling and wondered how she knew.
“It was Feng Wu’s doing!” Zhen Ya told the others.
Now that Feng Wu had made public her capability, Zi Ling didn’t mind Zhen Ya telling other people about it. She chimed in, “That’s right. Xiao Wu was the one who injured Mr. Luo!”
All the students were shocked.
Feng Wu had injured a teacher! They didn’t know she could do that!
However, they didn’t know what to say when they remembered Feng Wu’s performance during the battles. Maybe she really could defeat a teacher.
The moderator was taken aback. Feng Wu? As in the girl she had mistreated since the beginning?
Zi Ling smiled. “But what you don’t know is that Mr. Luo tried to kill Feng Wu first, and there’s no point denying it because there were plenty of witnesses. If anyone wants to defend Mr. Luo, they’ll lose.”
Zhen Ya suddenly had a bad feeling.
She was right to feel so. Zi Ling said, “Why did Mr. Luo want to kill Feng Wu? It was because he wanted to avenge a certain woman.”
Zi Ling grinned at the moderator. “Feng Wu taught that woman a lesson, and that woman complained to her husband, who wouldn’t do anything. Therefore, she went to see Mr. Luo. You’ve worked here for many years; I think you know what I’m talking about.”
After hanging out with Feng Wu for a while, Zi Ling had learned from the master; she was no longer a simple-minded girl.
While they were talking, the crowd around them grew larger.
The moderator’s face darkened.
So that was why her husband had been injured…
“That’s bullsh*t!” After calming down a little, she stared at Zi Ling and wouldn’t believe what she had been told.
“If you don’t believe me, ask Zhen Ya. She saw the whole thing.” Chaoge arrived at that moment and smiled at the moderator. “Sun Jingyu and Pei Si saw it, too. They’re right there. They can tell you what happened.”
Both Chaoge and Zi Ling remembered how snobbish the woman had been, and they wanted to “return the favor.” It just so happened that the woman had decided to take Zhen Ya’s side today.
Sun Jingyu and Pei Si smiled bitterly at each other.
They had already picked their side.
Sun Jingyu said, “They’re telling the truth.”
Pei Si said, “Yes, I can prove it.”
The moderator stared at Zhen Ya.
Zhen Ya’s heart raced.
“I…”
Before she could say another word, the moderator went back to her room, grabbed a cleaver, and stormed off.
Where was she going?
