Chaoge said, “Xiao Wu, let go of me! I’m gonna kill them! They’re so vicious! Are they majoring in professional quarreling?”
Feng Wu chuckled.
Chaoge stared at Feng Wu in disbelief. “How can you laugh? They’re slandering you! They’re calling you ‘black crow’!”
Zi Ling also found Feng Wu incredible. How tough did her mind have to be for her to remain unaffected?
Feng Wu laughed. “Black crow? I kinda like it.”
Chaoge didn’t understand how anyone could like such a name and didn’t know what to say.
Feng Wu shrugged. “Someone once told me that I should be able to withstand as much slander as the praise I receive. Plus, that can hardly be called slandering.”
Chaoge still couldn’t understand her.
She had been criticized all her life. She would lose her temper when other people said bad things about her and would rejoice when they complimented her. Feng Wu, on the other hand, seemed to be able to anticipate everything and could take criticism much better.
Feng Wu said, “There, there. I’ll teach them a lesson next time. Happy?”
Chaoge asked, “Are you training me in patience now?”
Feng Wu shrugged. It seemed that Chaoge had guessed the answer this time.
Something occurred to Chaoge. “You didn’t tell Sun Jingyu to tell the truth. You stopped her on purpose. You wanted those people to think that you have no talent because you want to use this chance to make me more patient, is that it?”
Feng Wu smiled at her.
Chaoge said grumpily, “You… I don’t want to talk to you anymore!”
She walked away to sulk in a corner.
Meanwhile, Sun Jingyu was in her room. After she calmed down, she couldn’t stop thinking about how Feng Wu had killed a thousand White Lion Elephants with one strike.
That was amazing!
She was lost in thought. It had never occurred to her that she would genuinely admire Feng Wu for her talent. She almost wished that she could become Feng Wu’s minion.
Mu Qianqian and Sun Jingyu lived in the same dormitory, and the former wouldn’t stop talking.
“Feng Wu is so annoying! I didn’t expect her to become the best team member. Apart from the honor, she also earned 100 points.
“JIngyu, what are we going to do about Feng Wu?
“You spoke up for her, which was such a brilliant move! Everyone finds you such a generous person now. That was so clever.
“Jingyu?” Seeing that Sun Jingyu was deep in thought, Mu Qianqian gave her a nudge.
Sun Jingyu said, “What? What did you say?”
Mu Qianqian repeated what she said.
Sun Jingyu gave her a contemptuous look.
It made Mu Qianqian uneasy. She wondered if she had said something wrong.
Sun Jingyu pointed at her. “You’re such an idiot!”
Mu Qianqian said, “What?”
Sun Jingyu was interrupted by a knock at the door. Mu Qianqian went to answer it.
It was Wang Junwen, a student of Class D. She didn’t like Feng Wu either.
She didn’t ask Mu Qianqian to leave and questioned Sun Jingyu straight away. “Did you forget your task? Didn’t you promise me that you would finish off Feng Wu? What the hell?”
