She knew that Sun Jingyu wanted to kill Feng Wu, and now was a great opportunity. Why was Sun Jingyu giving her that look?

Chu Junying still tried to circle back to Feng Wu, so she said, “I’m sure Jingyu turned things around and saved you all from the White Lion Elephants. That’s the good thing about teaming up with the class president. Feng Wu, you’re so lucky.”
All the other new students gave Feng Wu envious looks.
Sun Jingyu wanted to explain, but she knew doing so might reveal some secrets, so she glanced at Feng Wu.
Seeing that Feng Wu wasn’t going to explain, Sun Jingyu remained silent as well.
The others took her attitude for tacit acknowledgement.
Mr. Luo said, “If everything’s fine, let’s get back to the hunt.”
He walked away after that.
Pei Si smiled at Sun Jingyu. “Jingyu, I have an idea. Would you like to hear it?”
Sun Jingyu didn’t like Pei Si, but she had to show her some respect while everyone was watching, so she said indifferently, “Go ahead.”
Pei Si said, “Since we have three teams here, why don’t we form an alliance and hunt a pack of White Lion Elephants together?”
A pack? Sun Jingyu found the suggestion idiotic. She wondered how Pei Si would react if she knew that Feng Wu had killed the entire herd. She smiled inwardly.
However, she pretended that she didn’t know anything. “A pack? Well…”
Pei Si said, “Didn’t you run into a pack earlier? All we need to do is lure them here. I’m sure our three teams will be more than enough to handle a dozen beasts.”
“A dozen, you say?” Sun Jingyu asked deliberately.
Pei Si said, “If you think that’s too much, we can do fewer than ten, just to be safe.”
Sun Jingyu smiled at her.
Pei Si asked, “Do you have a different opinion?”
Sun Jingyu said, “My opinion has nothing to do with it. It’s just…” She wanted to say that Feng Wu had destroyed the White Lion Elephants’ habitat, and there were no beasts left in the outer ring of the forest.
But she knew that the tutors would be furious if she said that.
The White Lion Elephants were there to help the students train their fighting skills, and the academy had invested in resources for raising them, but now…

Just then, they heard someone cry out.
It was Mingjie, Pei Si’s friend.
Mingjie shouted, “Guys, come here!”
Pei Si frowned. “Let’s have a look.”
She led her team to Mingjie.
