Feng Wu stomped on Feng Qi’s right hand without hesitation.
“Argh!!!”
Lady Gu couldn’t believe her eyes. She screamed at Feng Wu, “Have you lost your mind?!”
She had never expected Feng Wu to be so heartless! Feng Qi was her cousin!
Feng Qi felt every bone in her right hand break.
In a split second, her hand was red and swollen, making for quite a terrifying sight.
Feng Qi almost passed out, and tears rolled down her cheeks.
She had lived such an indulgent life and had never imagined such pain. The humiliation almost broke her.
Feng Wu sneered at Lady Gu. “Give it back.”
Lady Gu wouldn’t have it. She believed that a daughter of the Gu family should never give in. Therefore, she didn’t take out the letter, but said angrily, “Feng Wu, that is enough! I’m doing your mother a favor —”
But before she could finish, Feng Wu stomped her foot again.
“Argh!!!” Feng Qi screamed.
It was so painful.
Feng Wu stepped on her left hand this time, and it was as swollen as the right one.
Granny Zhao and Uncle Qiu exchanged glances, and both saw complicated feelings in each other’s eyes.
What Feng Wu did was the most satisfying thing.
But what about later? How would this end?
Lady Gu would never let anyone intimidate her, especially now that her brother had promised her that once he had the beautiful lady, he would give Lady Gu’s husband a promotion.
Therefore, Lady Gu decided that under no circumstances would she give that letter to Feng Wu.
“Still no? That’s very thorough of you.” Feng Wu smirked, picked up Feng Qi, and walked away.
“Where are you taking her?” Lady Gu panicked.
Feng Wu ignored her and told Uncle Qiu and Granny Zhao, “Let’s go.”
She had remained very calm and knew that if she broke into a fight here, Uncle Qiu and Granny Zhao would become collateral damage, but things would be very different if she made Fallen Star Yard the battlefield.
She had set up a formation there. Once it was activated, it would be very difficult for an outsider to break in.
Feng Wu dragged Feng Qi all the way back to Fallen Star Yard as if she was a ragged doll.
Lady Gu chased her there as well.
“Where’s Granny Wang? Tell her to come back right now!” Lady Gu was almost in tears.
She had sent Granny Wang to her brother’s residence to deliver the letter.
She had to have that letter on hand so that she could give it to Feng Wu as a last resort.
“I’ll go after her…” Steward Ding immediately scrambled to his feet and dashed off.
What he didn’t know was that the over-excited Granny Wang had been urging the carriage to go faster.
Therefore, when Steward Ding caught up with her, she was already leaving Lord Gu’s residence.
Steward Ding asked, “Where is the letter?”
Granny Wang said, “I’ve already handed it over.”
Steward Ding asked, “Who did you give it to?”
Granny Wang said, “I was going to give it to Mrs. Gu, but Lord Gu was there, so he took it.”
