“Why are you upset?” Jun Linyuan gave Feng Wu a suspicious look.
“I… I’m not telling you!” Feng Wu snorted.
Jun Linyuan didn’t press her.
Feng Wu asked, “What should I do now?”
The crown prince asked, “What do you mean?”
Feng Wu said, “About the case. What do you think we should do about the undercover agents of the Dongsang Kingdom?”
Jun Linyuan said, “If you don’t want to do anything, just forget about it.”
Feng Wu said, “Of course I can’t do that!”
That was her tenth trial. If she couldn’t finish it, what about her beautiful master? She needed to finish the 12 Trials of Love to obtain the broken star piece!
Jun Linyuan gave Feng Wu a perplexed look. “Do you want to find out who they are?”
Feng Wu didn’t say anything.
Jun Linyuan said, “Why bother? It’s none of your business.”
Feng Wu didn’t say anything.
He was right. It really wasn’t her business.
“But it’s yours. If the second prince uncovers the truth first, he’ll have the ring and become a more powerful rival. I don’t think you want that to happen.”
Jun Linyuan glanced at Feng Wu and said casually, “It’s none of my business.”
Feng Wu said, “But I’m you now, and God knows when our bodies will swap back. It’ll be me who will be humiliated!”
Jun Linyuan said, “If you want to investigate, go ahead.”
Feng Wu said, “But I don’t know where to begin. The only lead we had was killed by your father. What should I do now?”
Jun Linyuan looked at her. “Do you not have a clue at all?”
Feng Wu said, “No!”
Jun Linyuan glanced at her before he went back to repairing her body.
Having worked on her body for half the night, he had repaired 25% of it. It wouldn’t take him much longer to fix everything.
Seeing how calm Jun Linyuan was, Feng Wu knew that he must have a lead.
But what was it?
Rubbing her chin, Feng Wu recalled the details of Feng Xun’s interrogation, but she couldn’t find anything useful.
There was no way that Jun Linyuan could see it when she couldn’t.
Leaning against the wall, Feng Wu closed her eyes and searched her memory.
What was the lead?
Her gaze then landed on the book.
Could it be in the book?
Feng Wu flipped through the book from the first page to the last, then in reverse.
But there was nothing.
She then picked up the interrogation record which Feng Xun had left behind and checked it carefully.
She suddenly asked Feng, “Did you hear from His Majesty?”
Feng said, “They’ve searched the camp. No one is missing.”
That was what Feng Wu had expected.
All those seven ninjas were assassins that hadn’t been hiding among the soldiers. Otherwise, someone would have noticed that seven men were missing.
Feng Wu checked the log in her mind.
It said that 70% of the Saturn Team was gone, but why was there a thick red bar behind it? What did that mean?
Was that some kind of red alert?
Was that a warning that the remaining three were different from the seven dead ones? Were they more dangerous?
“If the surviving members are on the same team as the seven, why didn’t they take action together?”
