Feng Wu’s eyes twinkled. “Yes. How much?”
Jun Linyuan found the question idiotic. After a pause, he said, “About 1%.”
“1%?!” Feng Wu stared at Jun Linyuan. “Are you saying that you only have 1% of my bodily functions? Ordinary people would have collapsed, but you still can walk around!”
Jun Linyuan said, “That’s why you’re ordinary, and I’m not.”
Feng Wu cleared her throat.
Fine, fine. The crown prince looked like a three-year-old when he bickered with her like this.
“Well…” Feng Wu finally got around to asking the real question. “Have you seen a little fairy anywhere?”
“Do you mean this?” The crown prince raised a finger. On it, the thumb-sized fairy was yelling at him.
Feng Wu jumped up and tried to take her.
But Jun Linyuan glanced at her and put his hand behind him.
“Hey, Jun Linyuan, give her back! Give the fairy back to me!”
She jumped around Jun Linyuan but couldn’t get the fairy back.
Jun Linyuan glanced at her. “Do you want her?”
“Feng Wu said, “Yes! Please give her back to me. Now!”
The fairy had so many secrets!
She couldn’t let the fairy stay with Jun Linyuan.
Feng Wu reached out, but Jun Linyuan said coldly, “No.”
Feng Wu was astonished!
“Why?” She gritted her teeth.
Jun Linyuan said grumpily, “Why should I follow your orders?”
Feng Wu said, “Hey, Jun Linyuan, what are you? Three years old?
The crown prince wouldn’t look at her.
Feng Wu walked up to him and held his arm. “Boss Jun, I’m sorry. Would you please give the peach blossom fairy back to me?”
“The peach blossom fairy?” Jun Linyuan raised his hand, pinching the fairy between his fingers.
“Yes, this is her. It’s said that having her around will make it easier for me to… find love!” Feng Wu began to make up stories.
She couldn’t tell him about the 12 Trials of Love which the fairy had given to her.
Nor could she mention the fairy’s connection to the broken star pieces.
She had to lie to him.
“Do you want to be in love?” Jun Linyuan glanced at Feng Wu.
Feng Wu was speechless. She now needed to make up more lies to cover up the first one.
“Well… yes.” Feng Wu nodded. “Of course I do. I’m a girl.”
Jun Linyuan gave her a sidelong glance. “Shouldn’t girls feel shy about such things?”
“Well… Of course I will, when I meet the right boy,” Feng Wu said matter-of-factly. “I haven’t met him yet. Why should I be shy?”
Immediately after she said that, the temperature in the room seemed to drop.
Jun Linyuan’s face darkened, and he put the fairy away.
“Hey!”
Feng Wu was flustered. “Jun Linyuan, what happened? Why are you angry again?”
Jun Linyuan wouldn’t even look at her now. He marched off, walking as fast as he could.
Feng Wu trotted after him. “Hey, slow down. Be careful with my body.”
