“Let’s go.” After setting up the trap, Feng Wu ran toward the tunnel, dragging the prince along with her.
The temperature inside the tunnel was very high, but luckily, Feng Wu was fast enough. She moved like the wind, and the bottom of her feet barely touched the ground… The heat didn’t affect her at all.
“Captain! The prince is hiding in the cave!”
One of the men in black reported to the captain.
The secret guards had a strict hierarchy. The captain, for instance, was of the same level as Seven, which made him the leader of the team.
His name was Six.
Captain Six smirked. “Does he think he can run away from us just by hiding there? How naive!”
The other man said, “Captain?”
Captain Six said, “The ground is granite, which is very hard. It can’t be hacked open or melted down, not without an abnormal flame. Heh.”
Another team member said, “So, the young prince has just run into a trap of his own making, which makes our job a lot easier.”
The other team members all laughed.
This mission had turned out to be easier than they had expected.
They had thought that there would be a fierce battle, but the prince turned out to be very naive. The mole had lured him out here without much difficulty, and he had only brought a few guards with him.
Naturally, the older prince wouldn’t waste such a good opportunity.
Captain Six waved his hand. “Come. Let’s find the prince, kill him, and finish the job. We can then go back to claim our reward.”
“Great!!!” Everyone was excited.
This was going to be a great achievement. With the younger prince gone, the older prince would have no rival left for the throne. They couldn’t wait to claim their reward.
Captain Six wasn’t a reckless man. He was pretty cautious.
With a wave of his hand, the remaining twenty men in black spread out and circled the cave.
He then made a hand gesture.
One of the men shouted, “Your Highness! Come out! We won’t kill you!”
There was no sound from inside.
Right now, the young prince’s guards had all been killed off and their bodies littered the ground. Their blood painted the ground red, creating a wretched scene.
One of the men in white moved his fingers slightly.
He was none other than the captain of the younger prince’s guards.
He couldn’t move anymore, but he was looking at the cave.
He had pushed the younger prince into the cave.
Tears ran down the captain’s cheeks.
“Your Highness, I was trying to save you, but I sent you to your death…”
Tears and blood covered his face.
Right now, all that the men in black cared about was the younger prince in the cave. After all, it wasn’t every day that they could achieve something as great as catching the prince.
One of them shouted into the cave, “Your Highness, are you really not coming out? If not, we’re going to set a fire.”
There was still no response.
Six frowned and made a hand gesture.
“Go have a look,” he said.
“Captain! Let me go!”
“Captain, let me!”
“Captain, pick me…”
Immediately, everyone volunteered.
They all knew that they might not have such an opportunity again.
Six cast a stern look at his team members. “Everyone, follow me!”
