What the hell was that?
Feng Wu moved closer and saw that they were river wasps.
What were river wasps?
Other people might not know, but Feng Wu was an avid reader with a very good memory, so she recognized them.
The only difference between river wasps and regular ones was that they lived in rivers. Otherwise, the two of them were pretty much the same.
Feng Wu’s eyes lit up.
She had figured out a way to handle the Demon Chimpanzee!
Luck was indeed on her side!
But where was the river wasps’ hive? For her plan to work, she had to find it first!
Generally speaking, the hive was the most important thing to the river wasps, and it was also where their queen lived. Therefore, it should be located in the most ideal spot.
Feng Wu then looked to the southeast.
A willow tree stood there, and on it, a black ball the size of a hat swayed in the wind.
Feng Wu smiled.
Great!
Her luck was finally going to turn around!
“Roar!” The Demon Chimpanzee moved closer and closer!
50 meters, 30 meters…
It opened its mouth and was ready to bite Feng Wu.
What happened next was quicker than words could describe!
Grabbing the spider web with the small Demon Chimpanzee in it, Feng Wu hurled it at the river wasps’ hive!
Before the cub knew what was happening, the hive was flying back toward Feng Wu.
When the hive flew past Feng Wu’s head, she made her move.
Her fingers twitched, and there was a tiny flame.
Meanwhile, she spun around and kicked the hive.
It then flew into the Demon Chimpanzee’s mouth!
It might sound like a lot, but the whole thing took less than a second!
Thus, apart from Feng Wu, no one else realized what had happened.
When they did, the hive was already in the Demon Chimpanzee’s mouth!
The Demon Chimpanzee didn’t know what to say, because it had just swallowed a burning wasp hive.
The cub was too busy eating the fish to care about anything else.
The wasps were astonished, because their queen had just been eaten!
Oh no —
This was where the river wasps lived.
And there were tens or even hundreds of thousands of river wasps here.
There were no undercurrents or whirlpools in this part of the river, which was why the wasps had settled down here. It had never occurred to them that such a thing would happen.
Rumble —
The river wasps shrilled.
Feng Wu realized that something was about to happen.
Shit!
They were about to get their revenge!
Feng Wu was in front of the Demon Chimpanzee, so she would become the river wasps’ first target.
However, she wouldn’t just stand there and let the wasps sting her.
Therefore, when the swarm of wasps charged at her, Feng Wu dove into the river until she was fully submerged.
Water gushed into the small Demon Chimpanzee’s mouth, but Feng Wu couldn’t help it right now.
She swam as fast as she could.
Disaster befell the Demon Chimpanzee.
It was completely baffled.
With its giant mouth, swallowing a wasp hive wasn’t a problem for it at all.
