At six o’clock, Zhai Yunsheng came to pick up Jian Yiling.
Zhai Yunsheng asked Jian Yiling: “How did it go? Did you win or lose?”
“I lost 27 games and won 31 games,” Jian Yiling replied.
“That many?”
It was only one afternoon. How did Jian Yiling and Jian Yubo manage to play so many games?
Then, Zhai Yunsheng glanced at the game in progress. He immediately understood how these 50 or so games were played.
Ahh, they weren’t playing Go. Instead, they were playing Gomoku!
No wonder the games played out so quickly.
“Let me play a game with Yubo,” Zhai Yunsheng said.
“Mhmm,” Jian Yiling replied as she got up and gave her seat to Zhai Yunsheng.
After Zhai Yunsheng sat down, he started to play Go with Jian Yubo.
This was not the first time the two of them played against each other, however, it was the first time they played against each other in front of Jian Yiling.
Whilst playing, Zhai Yunsheng told Jian Yubo about the events that happened recently.
Zhai Yunsheng knew in his heart that Jian Yiling and Jian Yubo were both quiet individuals. As a result, they would not take the initiative to start a conversation.
Therefore, although the two siblings stayed together for an entire afternoon, it was highly likely that they did not speak much to each other.
Furthermore, he knew that it was probable that the two of them wanted to know what was happening in each other’s lives.
As the siblings did not initiate the conversation, he would initiate it for them.
After a match of Go, Zhai Yunsheng was more or less done speaking.
Undoubtedly, Zhai Yunsheng lost the match. When it came to playing Go, unless Jian Yubo intentionally threw a game, Zhai Yunsheng could never win against him.
“Alright, it’s time for us to go home,” Zhai Yunsheng said to Jian Yiling.
“Mhmm.”
Then, the two of them left the hotel room.
After walking out of the door, Zhai Yunsheng smilingly said to Jian Yiling: “Jian Yubo went easy on me.”
“Huh?”
“He could have finished the game a lot earlier. However, he went easy on me. He intentionally prolonged the game.”
Jian Yiling blinked twice in confusion.
Then, it seemed as though she understood something.
As they arrived home, Jian Yiling and Zhai Yunsheng were just about to enter their apartment when Jian Yichen rushed out from his apartment. He was crying and shouting for help.
“Sister save me! My brother is about to kill me! He’s going to murder his own brother!”
Then, Jian Yichen hid behind Jian Yiling.
Jian Yiheng stood in the doorway. There was an intimidating aura coming off him.
Jian Yiheng: “Is that the best you can do?”
“Yes! Yes!” Jian Yichen cried out. As he said this, his head peeked out from behind Jian Yiling. However, once he was done speaking, Jian Yichen went back to hiding behind Jian Yiling.
As Jian Yiling’s height was limited, it was impossible for him to fully hide behind Jian Yiling.
“Please don’t fight,” Jian Yiling said with furrowed brows.
She thought that the two brothers were arguing seriously.
Upon seeing this, Zhai Yunsheng explained to Jian Yiling: “Don’t worry. They’re not being serious. If they are, the person that’s hiding behind you wouldn’t even have a chance to get past the door.”
With Jian Yichen’s combat power, if Jian Yiheng really wanted to beat him up, he would be already lying on the ground.
Then, Jian Yiling asked: “Then, what is this about?”
Jian Yichen explained in a small voice: “I stole a piece of equipment from my brother… He got mad…”
Jian Yiheng handled a lot of military-grade equipment.
As a result, Jian Yiheng did not allow Jian Yichen to touch his stuff. However, Jian Yichen insisted on playing around with those pieces of equipment.
And thus, he played around with a piece of equipment when his brother was showering.
Then… He got beaten up…
