Blaze City was vast and lively.
Cultivators of various races could be seen in the city.
While all of them could change forms, most retained the unique the attributes of their own kind—there were brawny fellows with bull horns, female daemons with tails, plant creatures with leaves growing over their heads, as well as special beings such as water people or fire people.
Blaze City was also so vast that its east, north, south, and west sectors were divided into prefecture cities, each of which were filled with rare treasures from across worlds. There was no chance of seeing such stuff on Earth, so Jiang He bought some as a collection despite the lack of value.
And after strolling around for a while, Dumbo, Trumbo, and the others set up a stall on the prefecture city, selling their potato chips, cola, and other snacks.
“Everyone, come, have a look…”
Dumbo was standing on its rear legs and wearing its usual baggy pants and aviator glasses. Holding up a camera, it appeared used to calling for attention of the crowds.
After a while of yelling and seemingly feeling its throat drying up, it simply recorded what it was shouting before and played it on loop on a pair of speakers.
Still, the stall did attract many customers.
Those cultivators may vary in cultivation levels, but this was indeed the first time they had seen such snacks and appeared very interested. However, when they heard Dumbo say that each of it would be sold at one spirit stone apiece, a number of them quietly left.
While one spirit stone was not actually much, weaker cultivators could not even earn more than a handful of spirit stones. They were naturally reluctant to waste even one spirit stone to buy a pack of potato chips of unknown value or taste.
When Dumbo packed up the stall at night, it looked utterly dispirited and complained to Jiang He, “Master, aren’t the novels all lies?”
“Trumbo told me that the lead character from one of the novels managed to build a huge merchant guild by selling Earth’s snacks on another world, gaining huge wealth… why did I only managed to earn three hundred spirit stones after doing business for most of the day?”
“Just three hundred spirit stones?”
Jiang He replied. “Don’t bother, then. Just have a stroll instead.”
“…”
Wang Hou was blue with shock upon hearing dog and human’s conversation.
Gritting his teeth, he asked, “Jiang He, do you have any idea how much a spirit stone could be sold for back on Earth?”
“How much?”
“Ten million bucks.”
Wang Hou answered, putting up five fingers. “And that was because a small mineral vein of spirit stones was found within Hua Nation borders three months ago… otherwise, it would so priceless that one would afford it even with a hundred million dollars.”
Jiang He, however, remained impassive.
Ten million? A hundred million? That sounded simply unimpressive.
For Jiang He, wealth is just a number. So what if costs was more than a billion, let alone a hundred million?
Wang Hou was dumbstruck.
Keeping a neutral look, he pointed at Dumbo and said, “That dog sold cola, potato chips, and other snacks for one spirit stone each, and sold three hundred items in a single afternoon… the original cost is just a few bucks, and yet it sold them at ten million bucks, and three hundred items at that!
Wang Hou felt heartache at that.
How did he not think of such a way of getting reach, while a dog could?
“Oh…” Jiang he murmured then, thought about it for a while before asking, “Just three hundred spirit stones—is it really that much?”
“…”
Wang Hou facepalmed and did not want to pursue the matter further.
Later, Dumbo and the others showed discontent despite having stayed at Blaze City for a day. Jiang He was about to suggest staying for a few more days as well, but Wang Hou could not wait and keep urging them, saying, “Compared to the celestial battlefield, Blaze City is a small town, and it’s not too late to have more fun in the celestial battlefield instead.”
Nonetheless, he was quite nervous.
Have fun?
Fun, my foot!
What if the Nether River Patriarch comes charging here?
At the celestial battlefield where the Saints stood watch, the Nether River Patriarch would not recklessly start trouble no matter how powerful he was.
Having no choice, their group sought out one of Blaze City’s sentries and requested using their warp portal. The portal cost a lot of resources to use it, which was why a high fee was charged and it was always turned off.
It would only be activated once a certain fee was paid.
Nonetheless, the Blazer sentry became more cordial once Jiang He sneakily released a trace of his Grand Luo aura, and promptly sent word to his superiors.
Soon, a Grand Luo Blazer.
He was almost four meters tall and wore a dark-red combat armor, and introduced himself upon meeting Jiang He. “Scarlet Flame of the Blazers. Pleasure to meet you, Brother.”
Scarlet Flame was quite famous among the Grand Luo in the many other worlds, but Jiang He appeared unmoved after he introduced himself, merely giving him a nod.
Wang Hou, on the other hand, offered a fist-palm salute and said, “Wang Hou, at your service. Pleasure to meet you, Brother Scarlet Flame.”
Scarlet Flame had been a little angry at first, but when he sensed that Wang Hou was not a Grand Luo but stronger than one, he could not help reacting.
Another Grand Luo?
Hence, his attitude improved a lot.
These two Grand Luo were humans, but he was unfamiliar with them—he never even heard of them.
Grand Luo had endless lifespans, and given the vastness of worlds as well as the passing of endless eras, some of the more secluded Grand Luo could have been born without him knowing.
Inwardly exclaiming in awe at the might of humans, Scarlet Flame became even more respectful toward Jiang He and Wang Hou.
Humans were one of the dominant forces in the universe and definitely a race that stood upon the pinnacle of worlds. Being a Blazer whose world had almost been wiped out, would he dare to act arrogant before humans?”
“I did not know that you had come to Blaze City. Do forgive us for neglecting to show you our hospitality.”
After that, Scarlet Flame personally led Jiang He and the others to a gigantic portal while rambling on about various courtesy along the way, such as giving them a head’s up next time, or that they should at least take a look at the Blazers’ beauties while in Blaze City…
Jiang He promptly shuddered.
Beneath the Blazers’ stone skin is burning magma. Who would dare to touch your beauties?
And are they even beauties, since different kind have different aesthetical values?
Even so, Jiang He did not believe that a race averaging at three-meters tall and was covered in rocks could birth any beauties.
Soon, the warp portal’s light shone, and Jiang He’s group disappeared within.
They could sense a curious halation containing spatial energy wrapping around themselves. As the energy flowed, the dimensions overlapped, and they could see endless stars flashing past beneath their feet with every breath…
“Is this… Warping?”
Jiang He and Wang Hou carefully felt it out.
They naturally grasped spatial energy after cultivating to their level, and Jiang He himself could cast teleport. However, there was a limit to how far he could travel with each teleport spell, and it would never be as outrageous as warp portals.
Soon, Jiang He had got the idea and said, “Warp portals must be made by elites who were incredibly adept at Spatial Dao, and they fuse their understanding towards it into the portal, their power magnified by the portal itself. It was only by doing that they could cross an entire galactic quadrant with each warp… however, it has a drawback too…”
“What drawback?”
Dumbo asked.
“It’s too slow.”
Jiang He explained. “Warping is an application of Spatial Dao that folds up dimensions so that the user could instantly arrive somewhere else. However, this particular warp method that folds distant dimensions countless times does not carry the user to the other side instantly.”
“Of course, I think even the best Demi-Saints would have a hard time instantly crossing an entire galactic quadrant, and only Saints could do it.”
Jiang He lit himself a cigarette then.
Logically speaking, having a cigarette mid-warp would be a very special experience.
By the time he finished one, the dimensions quaked slightly.
The sight before their eyes altered, and they appeared in the center of another gigantic warp portal.
They had arrived at the Galactic Empire.
Jiang He was about to suggest staying there for a few days, but Wang Hou quickly said, “Jiang He, we are not far from the celestial battlefield now that we have arrived here at the Galactic Empire. Let’s use their warp portal to head toward the planets and continents near the celestial battlefield. There’s no time to lose—let’s go right now!”
Jiang He was left speechless at that.
Why the hurry?
However, Wang Hou looked utterly impatient…
“Minister Wang, did you offend some powerful foe who would hunt you down?” Jiang He could not help asking then.
Wang Hou’s expression promptly darkened and he growled, “What powerful foe could I have offended?! I’m worried the Nether River Patriarch would come for blood!”
“The Nether River Patriarch?”
Jiang He chuckled, “You must be joking, Minister Wang. The Nether River Patriarch has no grudge against me, so why would he come for me?”
“Although I took his Yuan Killer Sword, I have also provided some extension of compensation and wrote a letter to explain things. I’m sure that the Nether River Patriarch know what to do after cultivating to his level.”
With that, he spread his hands and said, “So, there’s no hurry to head to the celestial battlefield. The Galactic Empire occupies an entire galactic quadrant and rules over twelve planetary systems, with over ten thousand living planets under their rule. They are a incredibly prosperous, so let’s stroll around for a few days, since it won’t be late to head to the celestial battlefield later.”
Dumbo, Trumbo, and the Seven Bottle Gourd Brothers cheered jubilantly.

Several immortal lights rapidly approached Sura.
After rushing all the way without stopping, the five Suras who left Blaze City finally returned.
Sura was realm that the Nether River Patriarch himself had conquered, and was incredibly vast. It was the size of a planetary system even if was not an entire galactic sector, and the borderless Blood Sea lay in the center, surrounding by many living planets.
The five Suras soon arrived on a planet close to the Blood Sea, and contacted a Grand Luo through their private channel.
Soon, the dimensions quaked as a Sura elite exuding a frightening aura arrived.
There was disbelief on his face as he stared at the disciples who had returned from Blaze City.
“Is what you have reported true?” He asked somberly.
The Golden Immortal Sura stepped up then and knelt on one foot, saying, “Elder, that person showed the Yuan Killer Sword to us. There is no faking it.”
A look of delight flashed over the elite Sura’s face and he laughed, “Good, good! Our patriarch had just fully revived yesterday. It is a grand accomplishment that you could bring back the Yuan Killer Sword today! Come, I’ll bring you to him!”
