Jiang He suddenly remembered that Dumbo could not do math
Oh…
Actually, he could, although he was lacking a little, with the ability to only count to fifty.
Musing to himself for a few seconds, Jiang He then stared at Dumbo and asked, “How did you actually share out the Orirocks?”
“Everyone gets fifty.”
Dumbo was acting very upset, even feigning wiping tears with its paws as it howled tearfully like wolfdogs did, saying, “I had even let them take first and then took what remained. Good for them, but they started arguing and say that I was hogging the Orirocks.”
Meanwhile, Jiang He had already imagined the scene.
He had given Dumbo a total of 1,000 Orirocks.
After it had given each of the Seven Bottle Gourd Brothers, the two Golden Eagles, Trumbo fifty Orirocks, it would have 500 Orirocks remaining…actually, that was incorrect since Dumbo could only count to fifty and anything more than that would still remain as fifty.
That was why Dumbo saw no issue since it had taken ‘fifty’ Orirocks as well.
It seemed that some education needs to be brought ahead of schedule.
Unable to hold back his laughter, Jiang He took out another 1,000 Orirocks and threw it out.
This time, he left the job of distribution to Trumbo, the most cultured individual in the farm.
Being both full-fledged rank-nine Ferals now, Dumbo and Trumbo had assumed different paths of evolving after cultivating Sky Daemon Invincibility, and could evolve to Daemonic Pellet tier once they condensed their Daemonic Pellets.
After some thought, Jiang He took out the three Condensed Pellet Fruits that was planted from the Graywolf King’s corpse and handed one to both pets, saying, “These Condensed Pellet Fruits would help daemons cultivate their pellets. You two may take them now to ascend now.”
Delighted, both Dumbo and Trumbo wordlessly ate the fruits once they had received them before scattering off to a corner in the farm to cultivate.
Condensing Daemonic Pellets required the support of substantial Daemonic qi, which was an incredibly difficult step for daemonic cultivators. They would spend months or even years to absorb Yuan Qi, converting it into their own Daemonic Qi to slowly condense their Daemonic Pellets.
And yet, neither Dumbo nor Trumbo had to consider that stuff. Leaving aside having substantial Orirocks, the Yuan Qi in Jiang He’s farm was thirty times thicker than the outside, enough for them to safely ascend.
At the same time, the two Golden Eaglets were improving rapidly as well, with the Golden Eaglet having reached rank-eight intermediate while the mutated Blazing Violet Golden Eaglet reaching rank-eight advanced.
In fact, they did not even need cultivation, for their bloodline was so powerful that they just need to mature to ascend as Feral Emperors.
Furthermore, having learned Sky Daemon Invincibility, used the Orirocks, and cultivated in the farm with its concentrated Yuan Qi, their cultivation was progressing by leaps and bounds.
“They would probably condense their Daemonic Pellets in half a month if they continue with such progress. They could be my mount when the time comes and I don’t have to fly everywhere by myself.”
Jiang He thought then that one should not focus on how Royal Sword Flight covered several thousand miles in a whoosh, because having to run everywhere on his own for over two hours each day was exhausting.
Moreover, when he was flying alone atop the clouds, he found it monotonous and boring after the initial excitement and delight faded.
He then turned to look at the Seven Bottle Gourd Brothers who were each gnawing at nitrogen fertilizers.
They bodies were emanating powerful blade will, having almost grasped it by 40%. Their natural disposition was so excellent that consuming nitrogen fertilizers alone improve their cultivation, and it got quicker after they absorbed the Yuan Qi from Orirocks and breathed a dozen air blades every day. Being able to improve their blade will with those techniques certainly made reaching divine-tier easy.
‘Maybe I could give them a strengthening boot camp to have them ascend in the shortest time possible, and they could help me fight when the sky demon legion arrives,’ Jiang He thought then, and he found that the plan was not bad.
Of course, the most important element there was the Cloudscraper Vine. It had evolved rapidly after devouring the corpse of the Dragoncroc Emperor, and so, Jiang He threw it the corpse of the water serpent as well as a few hundred Orirocks.
It would probably evolve again after eating those.
As much as it was voracious, the Cloudscraper Vine’s digestive system was fantastic enough to finish everything in around three days and reach Emperor rank. When that happened, it would be the vanguard while Dumbo, Trumbo and the Seven Bottle Gourd Brothers backed it up, and their combat ability would definitely not lose out to Wang Hou!
Boom!
Nonetheless, Yuan Qi suddenly stormed just as Jiang He planned for the future. Dumbo reared its head skyward and barked, its aura abruptly expanding.
It was crouching on the ground, Daemonic Qi rolling off its body while a Daemonic Pellet hovered. At the same time, scores of Yuan Qi was surging towards the pellet, continuously strengthening and refining it.
Beside Dumbo, Trumbo’s aura was changing too.
Jiang He’s gaze twitched and he grasped from across thin air, dumping Trumbo over at another corner.
The feline’s aura was a little unstable as it opened its eyes and looked over. In response, Jiang He barked, “Focus on your own ascension and don’t waste anything. Condense the Daemonic pellet as soon as you can.”
What were those two fools doing hanging together?
Thought there were abundant Yuan Qi in his farm, these two would affect each other if they were too close. There was no stopping it if something unexpected were to happen and the Daemonic Pellet blew up.
Still, Jiang He was a little envious at the sight of the cat and dog condensing their Daemonic Pellets.
How nice.
They could experience the physical thrill of almost ascending while he could not enjoy that at all. Even after having cultivated for so long, the best occasion was when his ascension lasted for three seconds before it was over.
Ascending too quickly sucked.
It was over before he could feel the thrill—how could that be good?
Withdrawing his envious gaze, Jiang He looked down at the spot where he planted silver armor and could not help chuckling. There was actually a mannequin, just like the ones at clothing stores.
And the silver armor that he planted was crowing over the mannequin.
While it had clearly strengthened considerably after being planted, the most important part was that it had become much cooler.
“Tut, tut.”
“So cool!”
“No matter how its defense is, that design is enough. Only a war armor that cool matches me!”
Jiang He walked up. Reaching out his hand with a grasp, he pulled the silver armor off the mannequin.
[Ding!]
[+20,000 Farm Points.]
The System Notifications left Jiang He taken aback. After all, each premium-grade flying sword only earned him 10,000 Farm Points when he harvested them, and yet the silver armor rewarded him with 20,000.
His eyes shifted towards the silver armor in his hand, and a batch of data appeared before his eyes.
[Sky Daemon War Armor]
[Grade: Premium soul item.]
[Sacrifice a drop of blood to use.]
It was another premium-grade item as expected and in fact, Jiang He had guessed it when he heard ‘20,000 Farm Points’.
Still, a guess was a merely a guess. Jiang He could not help being delighted when he saw the grade of the war armor. Having premium-grade protective armor, and a soul item at that, was quite nice. Otherwise, it would not be all that useful if it was only superior-grade and looked cool on him, since his own physical defense was equal to a superior-grade item.
With this armor offering both protection and coolness, was it not the best of both worlds?
That said, the only thing Jiang He wanted to complain a little about was the name of the armor…
Sky Daemon War Armor?
He was no daemon, so why Sky Daemon War Armor?
Still, he found it reasonable after some thought. After all, he had obtained it from the heritage site of a daemonic cultivator. Since the daemonic cultivation method inherited there was called the Sky Daemon Invincibility, it was normal that the inherited combat suit was called the Sky Daemon War Armor.
“Sky Daemon…”
Jiang He appeared thoughtful. According to the Sky Daemon Invincibility’s categorization of daemonic cultivators, ‘Sky Daemon’ was a tier.
Condensed Pellet, Morphling, Refined Soul, Sky Daemon.
And Sky Daemons would probably be Convergence-tier for human cultivators.
“Damn it!”
“To think that the heritage left by a great daemon who reached Sky Daemon-tier is so barren… Just a set of war armor and the Sky Daemon Invincibility technique aside from a counterfeit Immortal Cutting Flying Gourd?” Jiang He could not help complaining.
Nevertheless, he bit through his finger and dripped a drop of blood on the Sky Daemon War Armor.
Soon, the armor was refined.
At Jiang He’s thought, the Sky Daemon War Armor latched on in its own over his body before withdrawing itself into his body with another.
“Hmm?”
Jiang He’s eyes twitched as he noticed another function of the Sky Daemon War Armor then…
The armor could transform into T-shirts, trousers, jeans, wool clothes, and even laced underwear. That delighted Jiang He—did that not mean he would not have to buy clothes?
Normal clothing was poor since they tore if he used just a little use of strength. On the other hand, he could change into any form of clothing as he wished whenever he stepped out of the door, nor did he have to worry about tearing during fights, making it so utterly useful.
With a single thought, the Sky Daemon War Armor turned into a suit over his body.
Using his mana to conjure a mirror, he looked at his reflection closely and was left a little disappointed…
No shirt.
No tie either.
“Maybe I could get another inner armor similar to the Sky Daemon War Armor, which I could use to transform into shirts. As for ties…”
Jiang He vaguely remembered most female cultivators in immortal novels loved their laces or floating belts, and feathery rainbow dresses if they were a little richer. In fact, everything from their hairbands, headbands, hairpins, and even earrings were mystic treasures.
Perhaps he could imitate them and get lacey mystic treasures—one that changed into ties.
“With that, I could learn item refinement as well…it’s a little unacceptable not knowing how to do that as a cultivator.”
Collecting his thoughts, Jiang He turned towards the black sword that was once inside Wang Hou.
It was now ripe for the plucking.
Being fully-pitch-black, it appeared quite mundane when compared to the other swords. There was nothing like shiny Sword Qi flickering upon it, and it was simply normal and perfectly plain.
Jiang He assumed that it was an example of ‘failed strengthening’, like planting a tree which died when it was no more than a sprout.
Still, he was taken aback when he plucked the black sword.
A System Notification jingled in his head—
[Ding!]
[+10,000 Farm Points]
What?
The seemingly plain inferior-grade black sword was actually strengthened up to a premium-grade soul weapon?
