The four snipers were overcome with an awful sense of powerlessness after seeing how Ling Yun managed to triumph over the Death God. Was he the incarnation of the God of War himself?
They didn’t understand Chinese, but they knew they were going to die soon.
They exchanged glances and, in a last-ditch effort, turned their guns in front of them and fired at Ling Yun.
Ling Yun looked on mockingly. With a swing of his Devil’s Blade, all four heads rolled on the floor.
Ling Yun had a good grasp of the character of the Japanese. They were borderline crazy and were fearful of his full strength, but not one of them would surrender.
Nozaki Yuji saw Ling Yun approaching from the cabin. He knew the game was up, but he still stood by his post and issued his final orders.
He asked Tanaka to transmit what happened on Turtle Island in the simplest form back to Tokyo. He simultaneously ordered Patrol Boat 477 to flee as quickly as possible. There was no need for all of them to perish.
Nozaki Yuji knew that Ling Yun didn’t know how to operate the patrol boat even though he was powerful. Patrol Boat 477 had a chance if they were to flee with all their might.
Nozaki Yuji then ordered all the crew in the cabin to whip out their pistols. It was going to be their last desperate attack!
Ling Yun headed in the direction of the cabin, killing all the males and restraining the movements of all the females along the way.
That didn’t mean that Ling Yun was soft. No, he merely stayed true to his principles. Ling Yun would never hit or kill a woman unless absolutely necessary.
Ling Yun was greeted with gunshots when he finally reached the command room. He swiftly took six of them out with the Devil’s Blade, including Tanaka.
The cabin room was left with Nozaki Yuji and a very young and beautiful Japanese woman. Their acupuncture points were sealed by Ling Yun.
Both of them could converse in Chinese, much to Ling Yun’s surprise.
Obviously, most of the crew were trained to converse in Chinese since they had to patrol around Turtle Island.
Nozaki Yuji was ready to die, but his eyes were steady. His face was frenzied and distorted. “You are a practitioner of the ancient martial arts of Huaxia. You have destroyed the secret international pact and will be chased down by the International Extraordinary Abilities Organization forever!” Nozaki Yuji howled with laughter.
Ling Yun didn’t know anything about a secret international pact. However, the pact probably contained clauses which restricted practitioners from dealing with non-practitioners with their martial arts.
That was simply ridiculous to Ling Yun.
For example, the Zhang Family and the Li Family were in conflict, and the Zhang Family had overwhelming power. However, they wouldn’t be able to retaliate If their children were killed by the Li Family simply because it would destroy the balance of power.
That was the stupidest logic ever!
“Thank you for your reminder.” Ling Yun nodded non-nonchalantly.
Nozaki Yuji continued his attempt to provoke Ling Yun. “Our practitioners won’t sit by and do nothing now that you have killed so many of my comrades!”
“Don’t worry, I’ll go to your country even if they don’t come after me.” Ling Yun nodded again. He had given this some thought before his attack.
The lid of the bronze cauldron was still with the Tokugawa Clan. Ling Yun had to bring it back.
Nozaki Yuji stared blankly for a while after Ling Yun declared his intention to travel to Japan. “I admit that you’re strong, but I don’t understand. People like you are usually obsessed with cultivation. Why are you interfering with international politics and the military conflicts of the two countries? You don’t benefit from it.”
“It wasn’t my intention to interfere. I merely wanted to visit Turtle Island, and Turtle Island belongs to Huaxia,” Ling Yun replied truthfully.
“Huaxia has an enormous piece of land, why do you want to fight with us over such a small island?” Nozaki Yuji gnashed his teeth and asked.
“You have it the wrong way around. We aren’t fighting with you over it, you are fighting with us over it,” Ling Yun said calmly.
“Aren’t you afraid of angering the United States and provoking a war between our countries? Aren’t you afraid that Huaxia will be internationally sanctioned?” the beautiful young lady suddenly said.
“That is the United States’ problem. I’m only going to a piece of my country. Let them start a war over it if they want!” Ling Yun said sternly.
That lady was silenced by Ling Yun’s reply. “However, there are disputes over Turtle Island. The United States has given the island to us and recognized it as our territory!” she continued saying after some thought.
Ling Yun was irked. He realized that Turtle Island and the war weren’t just matters between Huaxia and Japan. It had to involve the United States.
The United States seemed like a big brother wielding a sharp sword over the heads of the people of the world. It had top-notch technology, great financial strength, and the greatest military in the world. It was the boss, and all the other countries had to bend their knees to it.
Ling Yun naturally understood that was the embodiment of strength. One would be bullied and hit if they weren’t strong enough.
“There is no dispute about Turtle Island as far as I’m concerned. I won’t agree to it even if the whole world does! Do you understand?” Ling Yun sneered.
What Ling Yun meant was — the United States might be the boss of the world, but he was the boss right then and there!
“You are unreasonable!” That beautiful woman trembled with anger and shot Ling Yun a death glare.
“I am still being reasonable. You will see later.” Ling Yun smirked.
Winner takes all, that was Ling Yun’s style. He won and was, therefore, the lord of everything he won.
Ling Yun looked into the distance at Patrol Boat 477, which had become a white dot on the horizon. “I don’t care about what happens after, but…”
“Turtle Island will be controlled by Huaxia as long as I am here. You can continue your petty spat when I’m gone. I’m not interested in getting myself involved.” Ling Yun pointed at Turtle Island, which was a kilometer away.
“Controlled by Huaxia? I’ve reported everything that happened just now. Our Japanese military will be here soon, even the United States aircraft carrier might be here anytime…” Nozaki Yuji sneered.
“The United States aircraft carrier… sounds horrible. It may be able to shake many countries, but not me. They can come at me all they want!” Ling Yun smiled coldly.
All of them would perish at sea when Little White overcame her tribulation!
Nozaki Yuji and that beautiful lady exchanged glances. The masked guy in front of them was the true embodiment of lawless!
“Any last words?” Ling Yun saw a fishing boat approaching. It was less than five hundred meters away. He knew that was the fishing boat he passed by earlier.
Ling Yun smiled as his gaze shifted northwest. About one nautical mile away, three surveillance boats from Huaxia were also coming to them at full speed.
Nozaki Yuji knew he was about to be killed. He inhaled a few times and pointed his chin in the direction of the woman. “This is Miss Yoshizawa Minami. I hope you can let her live.”
Yoshizawa Minami’s eyes suddenly radiated with hatred. Her body shook with anger. “Captain Nozaki, I might be a woman, but I’m also a Japanese soldier. I don’t need him to spare my life!”
“He is a devil, and so many of us died in his hands. It will be a personal humiliation to me if I’m the only one that survives!” Yoshizawa Minami continued.
“You won’t be. I didn’t kill a single woman. Of course, you lot sunk Patrol Boat 472. I only had time to save two women from it!” Ling Yun broke her proud declaration with a simple truth.
“What!” Yoshizawa Minami couldn’t understand.
“A war is only between men…” Ling Yun said lightly.
Ling Yun appeared in front of Nozaki Yuji and sealed several lethal acupuncture points on him. Nozaki Yuji expired on the spot.
“Tell your people to not take us from Huaxia lightly!”
Ling Yun left silently after one last glance at the pale Yoshizawa Minami.
The fishing boat was less than two hundred meters away from Patrol Boat 478.
“Uncle Yang, it’s that guy! He didn’t die! Oh my god, he is standing at the bow of the ship! So cool!”
Wang Zhongyi exclaimed with excitement as he looked through the binoculars!
