For one, Ye Qian was the brain behind Gu Yan. For two, Gu Yan realized Ye Qian’s value even more after Lu Yan’s return. Gu Yan believed that if she helped Ye Qian when she was down, Ye Qian would help her even more in the future. Also, Gu Yan would need Ye Qian’s help to fight against Lu Yan.
Thus Ye Qian accompanied Gu Yan to the Jing Family Mansion ‘reluctantly’.
Jing Yan welcomed Ye Qian with open arms. This brainless woman worshipped Ye Qian the most.
If there was anyone in the Jing Family who didn’t welcome Ye Qian and Gu Yan, it was the eldest young madam, Nanyang.
Nanyang was about to give birth. Her emotions were unstable. Nanyang couldn’t stand Ye Qian moving in and out of her house so freely. Hence, Nanyang made a fuss about it every day. She threatened to throw Ye Qian out.

Auntie Bai Rui knew that Auntie Lan was only interested in the Jing Family’s gossip, so she decided to indulge her friend. To entertain Auntie Lan, Auntie Bai Rui would approach the servants at the Jing Family mansion to acquire some ‘insignificant’ info.
The servants knew Auntie Bai Rui was now under the protection of the Seventh Master, and she also had the support of Mrs. Lan, so they were glad to help Auntie Bai Rui. They were happy to ‘wire’ the absurd happenings at the Jing Family to Auntie Bai Rui and consequently Auntie Lan.
The rest of us found out through Auntie Lan.
To be honest, I almost forgot about the existence of Nanyang.
Lu Yan brought her up not too long ago, and only then did I remember this cousin of mine.
I had too many important things to deal with. I gradually forgot about Nanyang and the horrible things she did. However, that didn’t mean that I had chosen to forgive her. I wouldn’t forgive her, but I didn’t take any action because she was not worth my time and effort.
