“Well, I don’t mean to offend, but I think Auntie goes too far.” Sheng Yue thought for a while, and then cautiously said, “Did Yangyang say something to her? Auntie is so smart and capable at the office! So why does she play favorites at home?”
Sheng Yue didn’t know that Sheng Yuxi was actually tricking her into revealing her true thoughts; little did she know that the consigliere acting behind him was Sheng Hanjing.
Sheng Yuxi pursed his lips. “So, I don’t know…”
He scratched his head again and again, messing up his hair.
Sheng Yue lowered her eyes. “Before Yangyang returned, have you ever investigated her or the place she lived? It must be very difficult for a beautiful girl like her to survive in such a harsh environment! She can’t be a simple-minded person.”
Sheng Yuxi was taken aback. “Yueyue, what do you mean? I don’t quite understand you.”
Sheng Yue smiled meaningfully. “Nothing. Third Brother, you’re too innocent. Just don’t take my words to heart.”
“OK.” Sheng Yuxi lowered his head, his eyes cold.

After returning home, Sheng Yuxi went to his sister’s room first. Standing at the door, he couldn’t help but hold his breath out of fear of disturbing his sister’s studying. He then slowly walked towards his second brother’s room.
Seeing that the second brother’s room was empty, he walked towards the piano room. As expected, his second brother was practicing playing piano in the piano room. Considering that his younger sister was studying, he tried to keep the volume as low as possible although the soundproofing was very good.
Sheng Yuxi listened quietly until his second brother finished a song.
Sheng Hanjing turned around and saw Sheng Yuxi. He immediately smiled and said, “Hi, Yuxi.”
His smile was as warm as sunshine in the autumn—not too hot, at just the right temperature. Seeing his smile reminded one of beautiful red leaves all over the sky.
Seeing Sheng Yuxi dejected, Sheng Hanjing stepped forward with concern. “Yuxi, what’s wrong with you?”
He blinked and could guess what had happened.
Tall as Sheng Hanjing, he looked like a lost little wolf pup at this moment, head down and shoulders bowed. “Alas, Second Brother, I’m so disappointed.”
Sheng Hanjing stood with him. The two were both handsome but had two distinct styles. He patted Sheng Yuxi on the shoulder gently. “Don’t take it to heart. Your childhood memories are still beautiful and true. But people change.”
Sheng Yuxi didn’t move but felt much better.
Second Brother was Second Brother. Although he didn’t tell Second Brother what happened, Second Brother knew what the problem was and knew how to comfort him.
When he had just heard his second brother’s suggestion, he thought it was a good idea, but now the reality was so cruel, so bloody. It was really hard for him to accept it.
But if he didn’t figure out the truth, it would be unfair to Yangyang.

After that day, Sheng Yuxi began to alienate Sheng Yue. He didn’t do it abruptly but gradually.
This was Sheng Hanjing suggestion because if he suddenly alienated Sheng Yue, she would suspect Yueyue which would cause unnecessary trouble to Yueyue.
Although they weren’t afraid of anyone, they didn’t want to put their sister at risk.
A week passed and then two weeks later… Sheng Yue realized Sheng Yuxi wasn’t coming to see her anymore, and she felt very uneasy…
