Chi Jiao was sensitive enough to detect that someone was staring at them.
She turned around and met Quan Jue’s eyes.
Chi Jiao’s heart skipped a beat. She stood up and was about to walk out when she saw Quan Jue mouth out the words: Wait for me.
Chi Jiao understood his intention and returned to her seat.
Xu Ye also saw him, and his handsome face instantly darkened.
Quan Jue had come at such an inopportune moment.
He really suspected that Quan Jue had installed a tracker on Jiaojiao. Otherwise, why would he appear nearly every time he was alone with Jiaojiao?
Quan Jue walked over.
“Brother Quan, are you here for lunch too?” Chi Jiao asked with a smile.

“Nothing much. Study hard and improve every day.” Xu Ye suddenly remembered that Quan Jue was a genius at studying. He had wanted to advise him to study hard and not be distracted by dating. However, he was wise enough to keep his mouth shut.
A lousy student advising a genius to study hard – he would just be asking to be humiliated.
“Why did you come out for lunch with him?” Quan Jue asked Chi Jiao bluntly.
Xu Ye was unhappy when he heard this. He frowned and looked at him. “Quan Jue, what do you mean by that? Why can’t Jiaojiao have lunch with me?”
Quan Jue ignored his question and looked at Chi Jiao, waiting for her answer.
Chi Jiao could clearly feel the jealousy emanating from him. She reached out and hooked his finger gently with her pinky. “Xu Ye is in some trouble. It has something to do with She Qi. I’m talking to him about this.”
Hearing her words, the haze in Quan Jue’s eyes dissipated a little. He turned to look at Xu Ye.
Xu Ye glared at him as if he wanted to fight him.
“What happened exactly?” Quan Jue asked.
Chi Jiao leaned over and briefly described how Xu Ye had been dreaming of She Qi.
After hearing her words, Quan Jue looked at Xu Ye again.
An awkward expression flashed across Xu Ye’s handsome face. He cleared his throat and said, “Those things happened in my dreams, not in reality.”
“Why didn’t you tell your family about this?” Quan Jue asked coldly.
“I couldn’t be bothered to,” Xu Ye said.
“Other than this dream, did you encounter anything strange recently?” Chi Jiao asked.
Xu Ye thought for a moment before saying with certainty, “No.” Chi Jiao nodded. “I got it. When do you usually have such dreams?”
“Every three days. I just dreamed about it last night,” Xu Ye said. “I had a fever this morning as well. I was fine after taking some fever medicine.” “I will visit your house in three days to see the situation,” Chi Jiao said after some consideration.
Now, they had to figure out why Xu Ye was having such dreams in the first place.
Therefore, she had to personally take a look at his place.
She remembered that one of Beitang Lie’s subordinates had the special ability to enter other people’s dreams.
When the time came, she would bring that person along to take a look.
